I use to lucid dream very frequently as a little girl and teenager, but i lost it somewer along the way :(
Iv recently started a dream journal so that i can get back to lucidity again... some of the most amazing experiences of my life happened during dream state and there is sooo much more i want to do :) Happy to be here to learn from u guys!

Welcome MangoSteen! :) The title of your thread here caught my attention. I started much like you did, but it sounds like you were away from lucid dreaming for a much shorter time than I, so that's great. I hope to see you back at it regularly and hope to be able to read some of your dream journals if you decide to post any in the future.

I didnt have a lucid dream for about 4-5 years.... UNTIL LAST NIGHT :)))
...last night i did a RC in my sleep and realized i had too many fingers and i could breath though my nose even tho i was holding it :) .. SOOO AWESOME I woke up out of excitement so im gonna have to try to find a way to stay calm for next time :/
Im very excited, its only been 3 days since i started getting back into this.
How long wer u away from being lucid? also, wat helped u get back into it again? was it hard? easy? :))

I was away for a couple of decades! I wish I had came back to it much sooner but I am thankful that I did eventually. What helped me get back into it was participating in the forums here, practicing Sageous' brand of self-awareness and I also found good success with SSILD. It definitely took a good deal of work on my part, especially in order to get to the point where I am now where I feel like I can LD most of the nights in which I actually try and even some nights where I don't try.Quote:
