Intro
Hi all,
I've been lurking around DV every now and then and finally decided I should join the community. I started looking into LDs two years ago, but my attempts (as well as motivation) varied greatly in time. Right now I'm trying to kickstart my attempts/motivation again, hence signing up. I've had a few LDs, varying from 0 in 1 month to having one 2 nights in a row. They were all quite short. One thing I remember happening in a couple of them is being afraid of being pulled back into the waking world by external stimuli, thereby making it happen. For example, in one of my dreams I stood near a church, had just become lucid and was annoyed by the children shouting in the waking world, because it was causing me to wake up. When I woke up, there were no children around.

Welcome to Dreamviews!
Congrats on your lucids. To enhance your lucid skills, you want to set goals to do while lucid. You can find some help here:
- Attaining Lucidity -------------------------> Many techniques here as well as users sharing their own experience.
- Tasks of the Month & Year ---------------> This will give you a great motivation to LD as these tasks are fun and gives you a reward for accomplishing them (and that will be an extra goal to help yourself to LD!)
- Lucid Dares ------------------------------->This thread has a ton of lucid tasks for you to do. I have been personally adding some basic tasks to get started plus other some advanced tasks as well. Many other users are adding dares for everyone as well as making personal dares, it is lots of fun.
Best luck and let me know if you got any questions :)
