Another newbie (w/ an embarrassing question)

Hi all!
My name's Angel and I'm new to LD... I've been doing it without realizing it for about a year now, and then when I learned what it was I thought, "Oh so THAT'S what it's called!" ;)

Anyway, I have a question... I have a rather, er... embarrassing thing that keeps happening to me. Ever since I started my new job about 6 weeks ago, my dream sign changed (It used to be rain, now it's a girl I work with- I'll call her M). Every single time I dream now M is in it (in one form or another). That's how I can tell i'm dreaming- I'll randomly be sitting in a castle or something and she'll pop up! I think my subconscious is telling me I find her attractive (which my conscious state is very aware of, trust me ;) ).

So by now you're thinking, "Ok so how is it embarrassing?" I work with her, so when i see her at work, I have a) a very weird deja vu going on, since it seems like we just "hung out" the night before, B) I have embarrassed myself in front of her by saying things like, "Well when you were telling me about..." and she looks at me funny and I realize she ONLY SAID IT IN MY DREAM (it's happened to me three times already), and c) I'm feeling like a creepy, weirdo stalker in my dreams because literally she is in EVERY ONE I recall, in one way or another... I catch myself looking at her at work thinking "she looked cuter last night"... :oops:

I should preface it by saying I AM attracted to her (don't think it's reciprocated) so maybe it's just spilling over into my dream life... :oops:
It doesn't drive me crazy or anything, and I don't MIND dreaming about her, but now it's blurring the lines between waking and sleeping...

HI welcome to Dreamviews, first off. Okay, well you seem to have quite an unique situation going on up there :P YOu have to keep in mind that everything in dreams is not real one tiny bit. It is all an illusion. Try telling yoruslef as you go to sleep that M is not real in yoru dreams so there is no reason to be with her if it is not really her, only your immagination. Either that or get with the girl, and you can tell her that she makes all yrou dreams come true :0 beacse they are all about here. hehe.

Sounds like you're trying to tell yourself something in your dreams, and you need to deal with it or it wont go away. Maybe you should talk to her, or just stalk her for a few months. Id try and get as aware and lucid as possible in these dreams so the lines are less blurred. Anyhow, Im sure this will prove to be a passing thing, and you'll have a good laugh at it when your in prison for stalking.

This is a blessing in disguise though! Many people would love to have your problem, with all the lucid dreaming you do. Tr y and see where you can take it from here. Make your dreams mult-dimensional, and see what other areas you can explore. no matter how fun it is to be with a girl in a dream...you can do that in real life. Try flying to the moon or writing a song, or a story.
