Newbie finally upto 1 LD a week

great forum this. didnt know there was a big subculture of ld'ers. glad to be here :) I have had a few LD's (before i knew the term or the theory) scared me shitless. All of these were after heavy bouts of drinking.
Finally did research on google after another intense LD ( i literally searched for "i know i am dreaming while i am dreaming" which brought me to every LD site in the web :)
SInce reading this website My Ld's stopped initially but I started to remeber atleast 1 or 2 dreams very clearly every night and then boom this morning (after a brief period of waking) had my next one. For some reason I was hesitant to do the reality check but forced myself to do it and voila (imagining a ball in the distance and trying to lift it always works for me - Is this my dream sign??) did an additional one read a route 89 sign and it turned to 8after i looked away. I was stunned this was the first time i was this lucid. Lasted through a few more scenes and then i was out of it.
WILD: i was not completely awake but couldnt feel my body. Dont think it was a false awakening as I could feel myself gulping saliva ( i think i was thirsty ) Thought this was best time for a WILD. Kept focusing on my breathing as I would stay completely conscious and slowly slip into the dream phase while still conscious. This was really really lucid as I was aware and conscious through the whole process. But everytime I was about to completely slip in I would get thirsty and fell my throat taking a gulp. Didnt want to wake up completely to drink water so kept doing this for a while without full success and finally gave up. I think if WILD can be achieved it could be really lucid :)
