I just had a dream yesterday, that i was in pirate times(just watched Pirates of the carribean. Awesome btw!) and sword fighting some dude. And i was just watching myself. It was like a TV show.
Your Dreams, and your Dream Persona are now in their most Primitive State. Your Waking Self has not enough integration with the Dream Persona to even be able to share the First Person orientation of consciousness.
From the Third Person Perspective you would have no control at all over the choices or responses that fall entirely to the Dream Persona. Without any tension within the Dream Persona from the Waking Self, it is unlikely that there could ever be a Lucid Dream.
Well, unless the Third Person Point of Consciousness went Lucid, but then any influence that Lucidity would have toward integrating the Waking and the Dreaming Personalities would be nill, since the two are separate.
Young dreamers suffer this condition, Third Person Dreaming, more than older dreamers. What I suppose might be happening is that Younger Dreamers who do have First Person Dreams are offended and embarrassed by the inevitable Naked In the Middle of Town Square Dream, and so they retreat into Third Person Dreams. They are hesitant to step forward into their own Dreams. Or they have had Nightmares that have scared them.
Now, sometimes even an experienced dreamer will have a Third Person Dream, but it often comes as a Vision. One is meant to See something. For example, I had just met an Oracle Goddess within a Dream and immediately after She had made Her pronouncement, I was zooped off to where I witnessed a Story unfold -- from the Third Person Perspective... so I could catch the details of the Story and not accidentally disturb the action or the outcome of what I was only intended to witness.
So, to have occassional Dream Visions from the 3rd Person would be healthy enough. But to be totally lacking the 1st Persona Experience is to be stunted at the most primitive level. One should resolve to get over one's embarrassment about being Naked in Public, or resolve not to be so afraid to the point of incapacity from Nightmares, and insist to one's Dream Mind that one be allowed to participate directly from within the Dreamer.
One can not do any serious Dream Work until one is tagged up with the Dream Persona.
Spectator Sports are fun, but one wants to be one of the Players, no?
