I been trying to go to sleep while still conscious and my mouth getting dry is what is stopping me . I have had this problem for years and it is pretty bad/annoying. I have tried humidifiers and lately have been drinking lots of water. I try to do a WILD and have to swallow to produce spits because my mouth is so dry, which ruins my focus and I can't do a wild. I have been trying to do a WILD for 3 nights now and this is my main problem. Any ideas on how to make this go away or lessen it?

I'm assuming you breathe through your mouth? I would suggest breathing through your nose.
Are you on medication - some drugs are notoriuos for drying the mouth?
You may have a food sensitivity - is your mouth always dry? Do you have a varied diet?
Not too much dehydraters such as alcohol and coffee.
Perhaps try foods and drinks that form mucus, like dairy?
Good luck!

I am on medication that probaly causes dry mouth. I do drink coffee but lately have been drinking lots of water to make up for it. I usually just go straight to bed when I first fall asleep. Then I will wake up in the middle of the night on my own and remeber a dream and write it in my journal. I then try to count my breath and go back to bed trying to get a WILD, but the breathing makes my mouth dry and I have to keep making my mouth wet which causes me to lose concentration.

Maybe you could take a sip of water but don't swallow it. I mean about the smallest amount of water you could take from a cup and just keep it in your mouth. It's a long shot but it may work.
I usually have the opposite problem of too much spit which makes me want to swallow. I've got around this problem by tiliting my head to the side though so I can still breathe through my mouth without feeling the need to swallow.
