Hello - Time to say hello
Hi,
I've been lurking for about 3 months reading post after post but now think it's time to say hello.
I'm a 34year old male and have read snippets about LDing for years and years but only after finding this site did I really start the study it.
After all the reading I've been doing this is the action plan I'm currently working through on a day to daily basis.
Reality Checks
Finger through palm of hand
Breathing through pinched nose
Check time on digital watch and recheck
Read 'Am I dreaming card' and re-read it
I do RC's every half hour.
Subliminal MP3s
Listen to before bed
Dream Journal
Record all my dreams every night when I wake up.
Auto Suggestion
I write down about 20 times on a piece of paper before bed "Next time I'm dreaming I want to remember to realize that I'm dreaming'
MILD
I then MILD going to sleep repeating to myself. Tonight I will wake up after each dream and remember it.
I have been keeping a dream journal for about 1 month now and my dream recall has vastly improved. Two nights ago I woke up about 4 time during the night and wrote down about 7 dreams.
What do you guys think of my plan?
If I stick to it diligently should I get results?
One question I have is. When I wake up and write down my dreams I sometimes find it hard getting back to sleep. I mean I'm asleep again within 20 or so but I have then lost that initial sleeplyness. Now that my recall is good should I concentrate on the MILD, not staying awake for too long after waking up?
Also can you have places as a dream signs? In my dreams I always seem to be in Work, back in my home town of 18 years or in my family house where I grew up?
I can't say that I have had any real lucid dreams as yet but hope to have one soon.
Any advice would be most welcome!
Thanks
Paul
