HAHAHA ludicity at last!
Man it was amazing.
I think i was in a barber shop im not sure but all i remember is someone asked me somthing and right away i said " No, that doesnt make sence I am dreaming." i didnt even do a reality check i just knew.
It was the coolest thinkg i ever felt.
I then said to myself " I cant believe im lucid dreaming its so amazing, my body is actually in my bed sleeping while im right here. everyone was right, It almsot feels more real than real!"
I then woke up but now that i ahve finnaly had a lucid dream i should be able to get them more frequently
-
WHOOOOOOO congratulations!!! :woohoo: And right in time for the holidays, too. :P Good job breaking that lucidity barrier.
-
Yep, you just did it for the first time, :D
You still have much to learn and many more challenges to face..
But after doing it once it comes easier
Good job!
Namaste :)

man im so so happy about it!
i dont even want to be awake right now haha ill i want to do is sleep and lucid dream.
Next time i cant be to excited though i have to calm myself and think of a task to do so i can keep the lucidness up lol
man it was awsome!
-
Good on ya.
It does get easier, and you'll find, as you go on, that those Reality Checks are very useful, but my first LDs were not from RC's , either. I think it takes at least one or two lucky breaks like this one before you start to get your bearings enough to use an RC.
(My favorite is holding your nose and trying to breathe. As long as you don't forget that breathing=dream, and not breathing=awake, it's fool-proof.

Ya, i do alot of reality checks throughout the day, everyday. so im hoping it will halp alot and ill be able to lucid dream alot.
Do most people on here have a lucid dream almost everynight or is it just somthing people do every once in a while?
because i would like to one day be able to realise im in a dream the second i start dreaming, everynight.
-
About 3 or 4 nights a week.
-
Ok, right on.
I hope i cant at least get up to 1 or maybe 2 full lucid dreams a week
that sure would be nice.
im getting really good dream recal from all this aswell so dreaming has been alot more fun recently because i can actually remember the majority of it
-
yay! good for you man :D lucidity feels wonderful doesnt it? Just dont get discouraged if it doesnt happen as fast as you want it. RCs are a good beginner way to lucidity, but i find that they arent as reliable as you might hope. I mean Even if you RC every minute from when you wake up in the morning till you go to sleep at night you still dont have a 100% guarentee that you will have a lucid dream. after you get a few lucids under your belt, you might want to take up WILDing. Its a really hard technique to master for most, but when you do master it you can lucid dream every single night if you want :)
happy lucid dreaming and merry christmas to ya!
-
Thanks man
Ya i have attempted a WILD a couple of times but failed because ill end up moving my body before i can realise it or just fall right asleep but i will master it one day.
-
Haha, I know how weird the first time you realise your dreaming. It's the most fantastic and weird sensation ever! Congrats on taking your first step towards a bigger world ;)
-
Onesky i'm in the same boat as you buddy :) I just had my first 'recorded' lucid since joining a little while ago and already I've had 3 more in the past week! Dude it feels awesome when you realize you're dreaming, it's called a DILD when you realize you're dreaming when you're in your dream right?
-
Yes, DILDs are where you realize you're dreaming, in the dream, usually spontaneously or by reality check.
