I'm ready to go all out.

That's it. I'm going to kick this up a notch. Any suggested reading materials for Lucid Dreaming? I'd rather stay away from gadgets and vitamins, but any other ways I could devote more of my waking life to dream preparation?

Last night I had SP, and I swear I did, just as I woke up, and it was no big deal. So, on that note, I am going to find my dreams, isolate and stablilize them, then carefully document my explorations. So:

1. How specific shoud I be on my dream journal?

2. Any good books to read on this?

3. Would naps be good practice?

4. Anyone documenting their dreams (i.e. Find your Dream Guide)


I know I post a lot of threads but this should be the one that cuts my output in half :P

1) You should write down any and everything that you remember from your dreams, in your journal. Even if you only remember bits and pieces, write down the fragments. If you have long dreams, write out notes first, so that you can connect them all to where you can write your full dream out, without forgetting the events.

2) Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming, by Stephen LaBerge, if you've never read it. That should be the only book you need. :)

3) Naps are great practice, especially for WILDs if you want to try them.

4) Do you mean journaling, or tracking specific objectives in journaling? I haven't been doing the latter (I do keep a journal, though), but it would be fun to do. I'm just not really that disciplined, and I always move on from one little project to another. Haha.

Agreed. There is so much to learn from that one book, there's not much need for anything else at the moment.

That determined attitude will help you a lot, Vance. You should journal, and read LaBerge, do lots of reality checks, and just keep dreaming on your mind on dreaming and lucidity as much as possible (and still be able to function). Staying focussed will bring the dreams. :)

Also Creative Dreaming by Palema Ball and Youtube search for lucid dreaming. You'll find a guy named Stephen Berlin he has a 20 part lecture on lucid dreaming.
