No dream is too stupid or confusing to write down. You have to make an effort to remember ALL of your dreams EVERY NIGHT. Autosuggestion (Telling yourself to remember your dreams each night before bed) is the best way to develop recall. Read this for more help:

dream journal. Sometimes you'll wake up and then fall back asleep and completely forget the dream. When you wake up and remember anything that was decently vivid at all, write it down. The more you do, the more you'll remember over time
Lay in bed for a minute after waking up and don't move. Your brain turns it's dream memory back on because it thinks that it's going back to sleep. You should then be able to recall your dreams.
i cant even sleep let alone dream! too much stress and hottible sleeping pattern! so those tips are lseless for me at the moment
well school just started and im geting into a decent sleeping pattern... still cant remember my dreams any
I believe that dreams are much like rodents. The moment they hear someone, or see something - they run.
My advise starts with:
Keep your eyes closed when you regain conciseness is the most helpful thing that I, personally, have experimented with and found to be vital.
Also, dreams get scared of light - and especially voices. Every sleep that my roommate/mom has woken me up saying my name over and over again, I can't ever seem to remember my dream.
So, that wasn't a perfect simile. Regardless, I am fortunate enough to have an internal clock that helps. If I wake up, for instance, at 0800 for two days in a row, then on the third day I will wake up at 0800 without any alarm.
You could try setting your stereo to 5 minutes earlier each day, then after the third or fourth day set it back 15/20 minutes to the original time and see if you wake up naturally. It could take much longer to develop that sleeping habit, but I really do think that waking up naturally is the greatest help for remembering dreams - personally.
