Beginner Needs Some Help
Hi everyone.
I've been keeping a dream journal for 2 weeks now. I've been able to recall one or two dreams a night, every night for that time period (with the exception of a couple nights on weekends when I wasn't sleeping at home [Out partying!]). Then, last night, I used a Brain Wave Generator to use the Binnaural Beats to help me fall asleep, and I woke up at about 3 AM (Fell asleep at about 10:30) right after a dream. I woke up and recorded two dreams). I woke up again at 6:00 and recorded another dream. Then I finally woke up at 9:30 and recorded my last dream. I recalled a total of four dreams last night.
I do many reality checks during the day (I have an "A" written on my hand, I ask myself "Am I dreaming or awake right now?", and I flick light switches), and have been successfully recalling dreams. I even tried the Brain Wave Generator where I increase to 10Hz every ninety minutes.
I feel like I'm putting the right kind of effort in, but I have not seen any results. Should I try some different induction techniques? Should I just stay persistent and hope that it works out? What advice would you give to someone like me?
Thanks for your time and help:)

You're doing the right stuff, now it's just a matter of time.
Be patient, don't stress yourself out over it. All of the things your doing are developing the subconscious habits you need to develope to eventually snap into Lucidity.
If you're climbing a mountain to get to the top, you know all you need to do is move upward to get there, and logically speaking you'll hit the top no matter what with persistance. This is kind of the same thing.
Too, the more anxious you are for it to happen, the more you might be stressing yourself out too much and that distracts. Just observe for now, and be patient, and let us all know when it happens!

Sounds like you are on the right track. You could try to integrate a Wake Back To Bed (WBTB) into your schedule. Basically, wake up after 4-5 hours of sleep, spend a little time reading and thinking about lucid dreaming, and then return to finish your night's sleep.
If you are feeling comfortable with your routine, you could try some WILD and MILD type mental excercises after your WBTB.
I'm assuming you've read about such things in the tutorials section?

Now I have a question about suppliments:
Should I experiment with supplements to get me into my first lucid dream, just to give myself confidence? I'm wary to take it for my first time, because I don't want to become dependent on supplements to lucid dream. I was thinking I could have my first one naturally, then experiment so that I can know I don't need the supplements. Is this just worrying too much?
Also, what supplements work? I was reading the Supplements section of the forum, but it seemed like everyone had mixed results with melatonin or 5 htp, or whatever else. What supplement would you reccomend? I'm thinking that Melatonin might be most effective, but I'm not sure.

I do not use any supplements. I dont think they should be used to attain Lucid Dreams at all. We can do it naturally just fine. BUT, if you do feel the need to try something, get some B6. It will help with vivid dreams.
