I think I may have had my first LD, although I am unsure.
A few nights ago I had a dream that was noticeably different from any other dream I have ever experienced. While I was dreaming, I was able to think as if I were awake. I was also aware that I must be dreaming, as everything felt a bit off, and had that "dreamy" feel to it. The dream took place in what appeared to be a restaurant, as there were booths and tables throughout the room. Since I realized that I was dreaming, I knew I would be able to do anything in the dream, if I thought about it. I then attempted to move an object with my mind. I pointed my finger at one of the many booths in the room, and flicked my finger to the left, and sure enough, it went flying to the left through a glass window. I then proceeded to try a few more things, such as blowing one of the walls out with a Star Wars-like "force push" (something I always thought would be cool to be able to do), and ripping of the entire roof of the building and send it flying (all of which I was able to do flawlessly, as if I had done it a million times before). Just as I was about to completely obliterate the building, everything just went blank in an instant, and then started to become a bunch of blotchy / fuzzy spots (similar to when you rub your eyes really hard for a few seconds) for about a second, and then I woke up. And between the time I was dreaming, the one second of emptiness / fuzziness, and the time I woke up, I felt absolutely no change in consciousness or awareness.
I am unsure if this is what a lucid dream is, as I have never had one before (though I have wanted to have one for quite some time), and would appreciate any feedback you could give. =)
