A little LD help...
I'm having trouble with achieving an LD.... I've had a few before, but they were in no way intentional.... It seems that now that I am trying to have them they are becoming more difficult to acquire. Does anyone have any tips on how to better ease myself into them?

there are lots of tips and techniques. one of the easiest ways is to wake up right before your last REM cycle (5-6 hours of sleep) which is when your most vivid dreamin occurs.(if you dont know what that is, check out homepage and see the links on the left of the page), stay up for like 5 to 15 minutes so that your still not half asleep, and go back to bed. how you were able to achieve lucidty before trying?

Hey Andy. What have you been doing to get Lucid Dreams? It could be your technique that needs to be changed. Also, most everyone expericnes difficulty when they are trying to hard. Just calm down and let your dreams come easily and naturally so you dont get all worked up. If you are stressed, then you cannot dream properly. Dont let it consume you, and just slowly let your LD methods be part of your nightly routine. After a while your pactinece will pay off :)

If you remember your dream, think about it all day. Keep reliving it. Do the same thing with every dream you remember. I think my daydreaming all the time is what made me good at LD.
Don't put all your faith in these methods. If you follow them exactly and they don't work, you might lose confidence that you can do it. Remember that everyone is different. I've been having LDs for years, and only just found out that there were methods like these for inducing them.
I discovered early on that LD during a daytime nap was WAAAAAY easier than doing it during my nighttime sleep. The cool thing about LD is if you fail, you have every single time you sleep to try again.
