sometime when im putting myself in a trance (gradual weight technique)my eyes start to twitch so hard and fast that it knocks me out of my concentration.i mean hard! like so hard one whole side of my face is moving w/ it..lol i dont really know wut im asking here...i guess is there any way to prevent this?its a real hindrance. :bang: lol i luv these little dumb smileys
Well, if the trance is like SP, You're body is probably testing you.
As to do something about it... Usually you have to wait it out... Maybe possitioning yourself differently can help.
when your in sp can u move if you want to?? because ive meditated for a long time without movin an inch and my body got really heavy and it felt like it does when your foot falls asleep kinda. my body felt sort of dead,but i could move if i really really wanted to...is this sp?? or can u not move even if you want too??

Sometimes I feel like I have to blink with my eyes closed, is it kind of that feeling?
no the muscles surounding my eyes start spazzing .... hard lol

The same thing happens to me but it doesn't move that hard...
I think you are exciting yourself too much. Go to bed as normal, and continue with a recall and reality check schedule. Try again in a few days, and see if it still happens.Quote:

Yes I have been reading this site for months and decided to make an account to answer this question...
I have done a lot of research into Hypnosis because of my great interest in it. One of the main ways to recognize if someone is in a hypnotic state is to notice their eyes twitching (or "fluttering"). So while you are attempting a WILD you are also putting yourself into a hypnotic stance (my theory)...and the eyes (which also could be your body trying to trick your mind) are ways of knowing that you have entered that hypnotic state and are completely relaxed. So you may be closer to having a WILD than you think :).
I am no expert...But this could possibly help..

that happenes to me when i try to visuallize something very vividly dose it feel like theres an extra layer behind your eyelids thats flititng up and down ?
Once I was lying in bed trying to fall asleep and my eyes and facial muscles kept twitching, and it was so annoying but for some reason I decided to just let it happen, and I started to go into some sort of a trance I guess you could say, and then I felt like I was being sucked into a void, and after that all I can say is that I was still alive, but "I" wasn't there. Then I came out of it and tried to make it happen again, but I couldn't. Very strange, I know, but if I could I would definitely have it happen again.Quote:
