External Sound -> Lucidity
Hey, I haven't been around these forums very much but I was excited by a lucid dream I had today. I get a lucid dream every few months or so. So I was really tired from studying and decided to take a nap. It was 7:30PM when I climbed into bed. I'm in a dorm so I could hear my other roommates watching TV and shouting about the basketball game in the next room over.
I had a false awakening; I dreamed I woke up in one of my roommates beds instead. I was really confused because I remembered falling asleep in my own bed. Then I heard shouting from my roomates (in real life) who were still watching the basketball game, so I realized I must have been dreaming. I was excited but kept calm, and even though I could still hear my roomates shouting in real life I was still dreaming. I walked around in the dream world for a short while, then woke up at around 8:10PM.
I've never had anything like this happen before, having an external sound make me achieve lucidity. :)
Edit: Sorry this might have been better placed in the Lucid Experiences section.
