Question concerning today's WILD

Hi All,
Can anyone help solve a question that's been around for a while? It showed up once again in this morning's WILD.

This morning I did a WBTB and went into sleep paralysis. After a while I started getting the rushes. I had them for a while. Maybe 10 or 15 of them.

As I was going into my dream state, I started hearing a huge commotion in the next room from Ivan - like he was yelling on the phone or something. I got very annoyed, as it could not have been later than 6 AM. I did my best to ignore him. Eventually, Ivan ran into my room, and said, I can't take it anymore, I just have too much work to do! He had a fistful of papers in his hands and flung them all over the room. At this point I told myself, this isn't real, this is just HI, you must ignore this, and go on with your WILD.

Eventually I transitioned into a lucid dream. Everything was quite vivid! A pretty day out. I was in a city that looked like New York. I decided to fly and had no trouble using my arms like wings. I had a lot of fun flying around the city, dipping in and out around buildings. It was kind of fun actually, avoiding rooftops. And of course, I enjoyed the sensation of flying.

My intentions were going into this dream had been to have sex with Mr. Wonderful so I began to think about where I could possibly find him? I decided if I can have sex with him while flying, that would solve everything. And that's exactly what I did. Why go down to the city when I could bring him right up here into the clouds?

It was somewhat disembodied but quite gratifying as well. At some point I landed inside an apartment and I was sitting there when Ivan came running in again and tried to wake me up. Once again, I realized that this is part of my dream pattern and told him to go away.

I then took the second spin, flying in the city.

Questions: I thought that when Ivan made all that noise… and came in my room … it was HI. But… later he came in my apartment - **For a second time** in my dream and tried to wake me up too.

This is a recurring theme for me. Someone trying to wake me up out of my dream. Fortunately I’m “on to it” so I’ve trained myself to ignore this! Finally! But, I am confused. Is it HI or part of my LD or dream?

I’m really curious since this happens a lot to me. I am glad I am handling it but would like to classify it accurately. I thought, maybe it’s HI - and when I am starting to end my dream, could it be HI then, too?

Though now that I know how to “ignore” this "wakeup person" (who changes frequently) at least I've learned and I go on with my dreaming. That took a while, I used to get kind of upset! :-) So little victories, anyway.

Maybe "wakeup person" is in both the HI and LD? Or I don't know... is there a third thing? I don't think this was an FA since I wound up in NYC...

I'm a complete newbie, but is there a chance this is your 'dreamsign'?

Also, I too had a dream last night which involved New York, why, I don't know. I seem to keep dreaming about the damned place, I have no wil or intention of ever going there either, weird!

Flying sex, I do believe that will be next on my to-do list! :D

Edit: I didn't read the questions, just the green and blue - my mistake!

My guess would be dreamsign, too. It could happen at the very beginning and end of the dream...perhaps your subconscious associates changes in lucidity/awareness with this particular event...just a guess. I would say it's nothing to worry about. Good luck in your WILD attempts!

If you were still in the transitional phase, it is likely that Ivan's first appearance was some vivid/complex HI. His second appearance was most likey part of the dream and was just created from memory/thoughts of being woken up. Remember, HI and dream scenes aren't all that different. The further you get in the WILD process, the more complex and dream-like the HI becomes, before you actually start the dream.

this is extremely helpful. it's taken me many attempts to learn to ignore the HI and not get kicked out of wilds and dilds.

however... i want to communicate with the dream figures. interact with them. so i think i would if i knew that they were not, in fact, HI figures!!!

i'd actually like to say, something like, sit down and stay a while and let's talk... or whatever... instead of trying to wake me up, or what is your intention here? you get my point.

oh yes,
and sex while flying,yes, it just sort of happened. it wasn't on my goals yet. i still have to make up my list. will add that. i am open to a repeat experience.
