Thread: Question concerning today's WILD

Hi All,
Can anyone help solve a question that's been around for a while? It showed up once again in this morning's WILD.

This morning I did a WBTB and went into sleep paralysis. After a while I started getting the rushes. I had them for a while. Maybe 10 or 15 of them.

As I was going into my dream state, I started hearing a huge commotion in the next room from Ivan - like he was yelling on the phone or something. I got very annoyed, as it could not have been later than 6 AM. I did my best to ignore him. Eventually, Ivan ran into my room, and said, I can't take it anymore, I just have too much work to do! He had a fistful of papers in his hands and flung them all over the room. At this point I told myself, this isn't real, this is just HI, you must ignore this, and go on with your WILD.

Eventually I transitioned into a lucid dream. Everything was quite vivid! A pretty day out. I was in a city that looked like New York. I decided to fly and had no trouble using my arms like wings. I had a lot of fun flying around the city, dipping in and out around buildings. It was kind of fun actually, avoiding rooftops. And of course, I enjoyed the sensation of flying.

My intentions were going into this dream had been to have sex with Mr. Wonderful so I began to think about where I could possibly find him? I decided if I can have sex with him while flying, that would solve everything. And that's exactly what I did. Why go down to the city when I could bring him right up here into the clouds?

It was somewhat disembodied but quite gratifying as well. At some point I landed inside an apartment and I was sitting there when Ivan came running in again and tried to wake me up. Once again, I realized that this is part of my dream pattern and told him to go away.

I then took the second spin, flying in the city.

Questions: I thought that when Ivan made all that noise… and came in my room … it was HI. But… later he came in my apartment - **For a second time** in my dream and tried to wake me up too.

This is a recurring theme for me. Someone trying to wake me up out of my dream. Fortunately I’m “on to it” so I’ve trained myself to ignore this! Finally! But, I am confused. Is it HI or part of my LD or dream?

I’m really curious since this happens a lot to me. I am glad I am handling it but would like to classify it accurately. I thought, maybe it’s HI - and when I am starting to end my dream, could it be HI then, too?

Though now that I know how to “ignore” this "wakeup person" (who changes frequently) at least I've learned and I go on with my dreaming. That took a while, I used to get kind of upset! :-) So little victories, anyway.

Maybe "wakeup person" is in both the HI and LD? Or I don't know... is there a third thing? I don't think this was an FA since I wound up in NYC...
