Question about my lucid dreams

I've had three lucid dreams in total, after the first one i became scared, because the feeling of that...warping fading thing at the start, during and end of the dream feels too weird. I just had a lucid dream today, which was much more sucessful then the other two, which always ended up stuffing up, but when i woke it had me wondering why i felt the way i did when i woke. I felt like shocked and i felt as if i was about to cry, as if something horrible had happened to me. It always happens whenever i have a lucid dream and i was just wondering if anyone else expriences(ed) this when they either just started out or always because thats one thing i dislike about it..and i would really like to get rid of it.

I think most people feel wonderful after having a lucid dream -- I know I do. After reading the descriptions of your dreams, I'm thinking that perhaps you are not fully lucid, and are almost definitely not in control of what's happening in your dreams. If you practice, you can become better at this. If you can take contol of your dreams, you should be able to avoid feeling like something bad has happened, and instead live out your wildest fantasies, all the time knowing that nothing bad can come of it. Check out the tutorials for tips on how to increase the clarity and lucidity in your dreams, and how to improve your control. Also, when you become lucid, try to remind yourself that it's only a dream, and no matter what happens in the dream, there will be no permanent consequences to you. Once you can fully accept this, relax, and not be afraid, I think you should have a much better experience.

If you manage to get lucid again, just relax. Try creating or doing something that makes you happy. Fly over an ocean or with a dear friend. Make some food that you like and enjoy it. Beyond that, I'm not entirely sure, but I'll give it some more thought.
