well last night when i was dreaming in my dream i was calling the cops on some people and the people stopped doing what they were doing and i was worrried the cops would get mad but then i said that i was dreaming and i didnt have to worrry but i forgot to control my dream so was this a lucid?????:eek:
It probably was the beginning of a lucid dream, you were aware that it was a dream, but you lost control. Maybe because you got excited. I also kind off had something like this. I was standing in a room and I was looking at a book, then I saw two people standing in front of me, I don't know why, but I suddenly knew that it was a dream, I got excited though and lost control. It was very short, but I was aware of me dreaming, so I think it was the same with you.Quote:

Although I'm not certain about this, it sounds like what you had might have been a vivid experience of false awakening. As far I know these types of dreams often tend to evoke lucidity sometimes.

ok guys the mild really doesnt just seem strong enough is there any technique that really is very effective and i dont have to wake up in the middle of the night because im a student loosing sleep is nowhere near an option
mantras for me just do not seem strong and i forget to do reality checks ALOT
Try doing DEILD's, it might take time to learn how to lay still, but I don't think you lose sleep. There's a info about it on the tutorial section. If that doens't work I would really try to do RC's, they're the basis for a lot of techniques. At tutorials are many techniques so there might be one that suits you.
