Is this sleep paralysis?
I was lying in bed for about 30 minutes. After a while, my body felt like when your leg falls asleep, but in all my legs and arms, but my chest and head felt a bit normal, but not entirely. Also, I seemed to have hallucinations by they kept leaving and coming back. Eventually, I decided to just go fall asleep, so I tried to move, I couldn't, and then I tried a bit harder and my body moved. Does that sound like it?

Thanks! Also, is it better to be more tired or should I just relax longer?

I'd be in a comfortably tired state, but not overtired unless you're really good at focusing and keeping your mind awake. I've attempted WILDs before when I was really tired, and I ended up dozing off. But that's just me.
The less tired or the most recently active you were, you'll have to relax longer.
