Why do you have the headache? Is it stress, seasonal, sinuses, diet, withdrawal, migraine etc. My daughter swore that for pressure headaches, tying a tie tightly around your head would help. It seemed to help her, but did nothing for me. I get killer headaches and the only thing I can do is go to sleep. They make me very nauseous. Valium sometimes helps with those.
Sometimes, since I was a kid, I get a certain headache that monstrous and staring into a very bright light makes it go away for a little bit. What the heck lol. I've always been curious about that.
Most of the time though, Tylenol and a Caffeine pill works to take my headaches down to a 3-4.
I have a headache almost every single day. Have since I was a kid. But unless it's a 6 (pain scale) I rarely even seriously take notice of it.
Knowing the reason behind the headache helps determine the best meds. Sometimes an allergy or sinus medicine gets the job done. Sometimes 1 Tylenol and 1 Ibuprofen is best.
Sorry if you stated the reason behind your headaches and I missed it.
In any case  I hope you feel better soon.
 Tommo. Sorry I left you out earlier :) Job searching sucks. I hope something wonderful comes your way soon.
My rant:
I just woke up. I laid down at 2 this afternoon and just died. Even though I had previously gotten 4 1/2 hours. So, I slept almost 12 hours today :bang: But when I woke, I started my period. I knew that was the reason behind my latest burst of fatigue so I'm glad it's finally under way.
I also have a bit of a headache. Eating should take care of this one though.
Other than that... just blah.
**EDIT**
And now I notice, Dave, that you said you don't know what's causing your headaches :bang:
Is anything else going on with you? A lot of times, in my experience at least, the headache is a side effect from something else (like allergies, stress, hunger).
Where does your head hurt?
