There was a box right next to the outlet... and the room itself is filled with boxes, old appliances, broken furniture etc.
My hubby can't figure it out either. The breaker is supposed to flip off before that stuff happens.
Her friend cut off power to that room, left, then an outlet in the girls room started sparking :bang:
We'll definitely start replacing them, per your advice and look into some detectors. There's not a one in the house.
I asked Paula to ask her friend who he uses. I'll put them in touch with my hubby and perhaps we'll start getting some improvements done. The back of the house is mostly unusable because of burst pipes and water damage. (The main is shut off when we're not using it, but a surprising amount of water accumulates when doing laundry or taking a shower etc.)
Rave: I had my cereal for breakfast AND ate a steak sandwich for lunch. I'm feeling fat but extremely satisfied lol.
Then I came home and cleaned out my bird cage.
Guess what my pulse was from that tiny bit of work..... 126
Now to tackle the rest of my room.... Getting rid of the clutter will likely get rid of a lot of the spiders.
How's your pneumonia, Wobly? Kick its butt?
