My cousin has this little Asian friend who does that all time. He eve says "lol" while he's laughing, "brb" when he leaves the room, etc. The kid's awesome, he's totally the tits.

xei what are they saying where you live these days? I love english expressions/memes, but my only exposure to them is in books, so they're all older and outdated.
