It's pretty common to lump at least Canada and the US under the term "American," because there's basically no cultural distinction. If you want to specify you're talking about a US resident, the term is Mur'can.

 that is one well-appointed back yard.
Ophelia is from Shakespeare's Hamlet.
Also, I bought the basket for my bike and took Bella for a ride in it. She LOVES it haha. But she wouldn't face front, she kept facing me, with her paws draped over the edge, tongue hanging out. It looked like she was smiling at me. I'll try to take a pic without dying, it was too cute.
Two different continents ey?
EDIT:
Maybe this is where I got confused.Quote:
Conventionally, "continents are understood to be large, continuous, discrete masses of land, ideally separated by expanses of water."[2] Many of the seven most commonly recognized continents identified by convention are not discrete landmasses separated by water.
I always assumed it was just one continent because that's the definition.
I guess all of these are valid

That's a really nice backyard Aly :D
Much smaller than ours, but i would definitely prefer yours, you have a pool as well xD
I forget to add, I'm jelly of your backyard Aly. It's beautiful and neat!
DV soon-to-come gathering to Aly's house. :P
Alyzarin, you do have a very nice looking back yard! I hope you're making good use of that pool, have you been hit by the heat waves too?
You have a lot of pool noodles.
Part of my garden. There are many koi in there, but they hid amongst the water plants as soon as I went to take a photo. >_>

Thanks! The pool is definitely nice. They're not common around here either, so we're lucky.
Well, at least we're equipped for it. >w< My parents are party freaks, so I'm sure it'd be a great location for it. :chuckle:
Yes we do. :P And oh yeah, it's been terrible here, it's so hut and muggy all day every day. :damnit: I've been swimming a pretty good amount, how can you not? :3
That's beautiful. :O I always wanted a garden like that.... But you should snap a picture when the koi aren't looking next time. :P
@ Alyzarin -- Yeah, didn't help that I came thumping over. I even tried to lure the little buggers out with some food -- but they didn't fall for that trick (beneath the surface they were screaming: 'noob!').
I'm from america and yeah were taught its one continent, at least where I went to school.
Alyzarin I am so envious of your back yard, I mean i have had big yards, but you guys have BEAUTIFUL plants everywhere, I love plants, But I had to get rid of all mine. :(
Also my dog is envious of that fence. Its really high, she probably would consider it a challenge to jump.
My cat has been a little stinky recently. Mom told me to bathe him or he gets kicked out out the house.

Hey I've seen a similar photo online and I had it in my collection of photos. These two cats look identical. I think I stumbled upon your cat by chance (or maybe I ripped it off from this thread but I forgot). He carried the same sulky face everytime he baths.

LOL! I probably posted that a while back. That is my cat though, I have more pics to prove it.
Spoiler for Kitty cat:
