I somehow missed this post when it was originally posted in 2012. Although I've been seeing its title the last few days, I never bothered clicking on it because the topic seemed so boring. But today, when out of other threads to click on, I finally did. I started writing about my favorite animal, considering what kind of cat exactly is my favorite, looking up pictures, and wrote out the first sentence. Then, I noticed the post above mine was a little weird and had a feeling something was up. When I saw the OP was by OP I knew there must be some hidden message in there. Perhaps the post was so long because he wanted to prove that most people won't actually read it. Sure enough, that's exactly what the OP ended up being.
So there. I guessed myself what you were going to say because I'm actually intelligent and open minded. I'm with you lecturing all these idiots about their incorrect and limiting senses of self-importance. So I didn't bother reading your entire post, nor any other posts in this thread, since I'd already gotten your point and am pretty sure I know exactly what you meant. I'm sure it would help most people to read through the entire thread, but as I've already thought about this type of thing it was unnecessary for me. You think you're insightful but you aren't. You're just another voice trying to be wise, like those I hear every day. My own mind is the only one I can really trust. After hearing so many repeating opinions I've realized that there's just no point in listening to people after I've realized what they're saying sounds a bit too familiar.
It's irritating that you made this thread. It didn't make me think at all. But I'm sure it made others think, as people of lower intelligence will probably find your post to be filled with life altering wisdom.
