Antidepressant drugs dont work
If antidepressant drugs are effective, why don't they work for psychiatrists? Year after year,
psychiatrists commit suicide at a higher rate than the general population. Are we to believe that they don't take their own drugs, or that the drugs don't have the benefits attributed to them?

What a way to punctuate a statement regarding suicide.
OT:
Antidepressants just trigger pleasure in the brain, as does most common "street drugs" among other effects. After a while this wears off and you become desensitized to pleasure, so when you go off the pills, things that would make you happy before have littler effect, thus worsening your initial problem. Working things out always beats putting substances into your body.
Concerning the razorblades: once in a very deep conversation with a cutter, she described it as "the only pain I can control". I don't think I wil ever forget that phrase. Unfortunately, this behavior can lead to worsened behavior and more severe means of self mutilation. LOL
