Love the pics!!
Do insects count? Those are about the only sort of wildlife I see now-a-days :chuckle:
Sure. How about the snake picture? That counts too. ;)
Nice Pics! Maybe I will take my bike and make some photos in forest
Fawn the spazz.

Oh, WOW, IC! Amazing pics! I wish I had checked in sooner!!!
I had a Dr's appointment today. I made my rounds around the car to check for cats. There were no cats, but there was another critter on my wheel. I shooed him over to the garage then went to my appointment.
I thought, for sure, he'd be gone by the time I got back (an hour+ later). But I looked around just in case.

And then I looked closer.

:smitten: I love that you can see raindrops on him. I got another pic of him actually looking at me.. but it was cut off weirdly and a little blurry
:(
**EDIT**
Please tell me y'all can see him  No one on FB knew what it was until I pointed it out. I blame cellphones :chuckle: Maybe the screen is too small for them to make him out. But then again, Miley was RIGHT behind me and STILL didn't know what my picture was of
Spoiler for See him now?:
Thank you!!
Spoiler for Wildlife:
Wow, lovely "show all"

I mean Spoiler for Wildlife
Love all of them, IC... but I'm especially fond of those mushroom pics.
A few years ago (?) I broke down and spent a lot of money on a real book "Mushrooms of West Virginia and the Central Appalachians".
It was an obsession of mine for some time.
I love eating mushrooms and the idea of "living off the land". I bought the book with hopes of more easily identifying edible wild mushrooms.
I've always held fast to the practice of (after watching the animals and birds eat something) taking the teensiest of bites of something and noting any problems then adding more and more if each step was okay.
Thank goodness for google! With mushroom, toxins can build up FOR YEARS in a persons organs before finally disabling or killing them :panic:
Until I can afford a knowledgeable Nature Guide, I'm just going to admire their beauty
I don't know much about shrooms.

Wild deer. So Close to them that I started talking to them. :P
Spoiler for wild:
How precious! Are they in a safe place to talk to them? You don't want them to get to comfortable with you if there are other people nearby. A healthy amount of fear is good for their survival.
The bird looks like a wild turkey. We have those around here too... but I never see them too closely. The ones in these parts are very skittish. We had a flock with some babies in our yard last year. They were so adorable.
I think they were a little confused about why this human person is talking to them. They still come and yes they are wild turkeys.

Doe one: "What the hell is that?"
(About me)
Doe two:" I don't know? Show yourself!! I think its one of those human things."
This was a couple of days before the video of the twins.
So cute. They're getting big.
I always talk to the deer in our yard.. they keep their distance though which I'm happy with. Being too friendly just means the neighbors can shoot them more easily once hunting season arrives :undecided:
A couple weeks ago, hubby and I were out driving to try to find the source of some smoke coming through his AC. We drove up a neighboring side road and a HUGE herd of deer were lounging in the yard. A big buck stood at attention straight away. There were several babies in the herd and I wanted a pic SO badly lol. (It was very dark out though)
Keep the pics coming. They're remarkable :smitten:
Rain....

That is too cool. I don't think I've ever seen them growing out of greenery like that before.
Very Dr. Seuss like lol
My mom was like, where are those tree there. The moss looks like an island.
This is was taken the other day when I was in the woods. It was one of those burls things but, what do you see. I see a fish or a horse or dragon eating a fish head? what do you guys think?

I saw a frog at first, but then I saw a unicorn eating an extremely large apple lol and now I can't unsee it :cackle:
We get growths on the sides of trees around here too. Love the changing of the leaves. I don't think our trees are to that point though.
