I suck at these. I'm thinking it has to do with poison apples? No...umm. Would I have to know the story of Snow White to get it?
An Apple? >.>;
In under 2 seconds.
I don't get it.
peregrinus is on the right track.
seven seconds.
i guess words are going by the way-side.
"Not I," said the cat.
"Not I," said the dog.
"Not I," said the pig.

would have taken me QUITE a bit longer to figure it out, but I like the double entendre
Here's an oldie but goodie (and no googling - that only spoils the fun):
What can run but never walks,
Has a mouth but cannot talk,
Has a bed but never sleeps,
Has a head, yet doesn't weep?
hmmm....a river?Quote:

(some parts "run" on batteries) :P
The answer is a river (or a blow up sex toy - I think both technically work  ) I'm going to have to come up w/ harder riddles!
No sooner spoken than broken. What is it?
Silence.

I really don't know any riddles, so I had to look one up (sorry).
A puppy is one, but a dog is not.
A kitten is one, but a cat is not.
A cookie is one, but a cracker is not.
What is it?

Here's my favorite:
You run through a long dangerous castle full of terrifying monsters and deadly traps but manage to make it to the exit. You reach a room with two doors planted near each other in the wall and two identical twin brothers in plain hooded robes standing in front of them.
An old man appears out of nowhere and explains to you that one of the doors is the way out and the other leads to certain death, though doesn't tell you which is which. He also explains that one of the brothers always tells the truth and the other always lies, though once again doesn't reveal which is which. The old man then states that you can ask one yes-or-no question and both brothers will answer it. As you look away for a moment the old man disappears and you are left standing in front of the two brothers thinking of the one single question to ask in order to find out which door leads to safety...
What will it be?

You ask one, "Will your brother say that he always tells the truth?"
(I will explain the answer if no one gets it)
Now for one of my favorites, but I'll tell the answer later since it's kind of elaborate/poetic... unless someone else has heard it.
You are stuck in a room with no doors and no windows (and no, it doesn't matter how you got in there). The only thing in the room is a normal mirror. How do you get out?
Bravo :goodjob:Quote:

now...
Ask one door what the other door would answer to your question  (omg- that's actually the only riddle I've ever remembered the answer to! saw it in a movie I think.)Quote:
