What do you think of the mods/admins?

How's a guy supposed to convey an air of self-righteous indignity, unapproachability and intolerance when you keep hugging him like that?

Overall im very happy, ive seen one or two things which made me question things but other than that its solid, speaking of mods where has Oneironaut been, I havent seen him post in ages granted I havent been on much lately.

I have to admit it does seem a bit...hmm...how to put this...childish or selfish(?) to criticize the mods when a. you don't even see 90% of what they do because it all takes place behind the scenes, b. we're all volunteering our own time to help make the forum a better place for all of you, not like we're getting paid to do this you realize?, c. people put in places of power will always be scrutinized and criticized so we all have to watch what we say and be extra nice to the little people...so while all of you are getting to run around saying whatever you like, we actually have to attempt to set good examples. It's not easy.

*shrugs* I dunno...I just wish people were more appreciative of everything we do here, but I'm not going to hold my breath...it seems as though most people online these days have become increasingly selfish and expect things without realizing that there are actually people holding together the places they visit each day.

Now that things are starting to become more visible, I'm beginning to appreciate the staff here just a little bit more. :D

I think the admins/mods/dg's are all awesome, i've been on many other forums and alot of them can be cruel and nasty and ban you because they simply do not like you, on here it is fair and i look up to the senior members, its a pleasure to be on this forum :) Thanks alot, wouldn't be the same without the current mods/dg's/admins!

I think pj will be retiring from his position very soon... for being a traitor to the cause. :-P

I like the staff here, personally.

I've been a moderator at another forum, and I found that the biggest problem for the staff was that while some people had reasonable complaints, they didn't ask for anything specific. They would say "The mods aren't doing anything," but sometimes they don't see everything that's going on. We have... how many posts here at Dream Views? Just be specific if you want something. Makes their job easier :)

Same here. I've been wondering about that since I got back here and started posting again. Loads of people seem to have disappeared. Megabenman, Kaniaz, Hominus Ferallis... :wtf:
