Little Wing
It's a version of the Hendrix classic "Little Wing".. just two tracks, one rhythm, one lead, with 4-5 "fluffs" that I have left in.. I couldn't be bothered to edit out the mistakes. Done in just one take each track. I start off as the original solo, and then morph into improv.

Welcome Home Solo
This is me playing Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria. If I had a camera you could see how fast my fingers have to go on some parts, including the buildup to the pinch harmonic parts. The whole lead guitar in this recording is actually me, no matter how intergrated it may sound with the song. I kept playing after the backtrack stopped just to prove that.
It'll do.

For this week's task, I learned the solo to
Stricken, the song that I played for the Rhythm Guitar task, a few weeks ago (might as well learn the whole thing, right?? :)). In the beginning, I'd figured this solo was
way out of my league, because of the fast playing at the end. I was able to get some of the runs down pretty well, but I kind of improvised the very last "descending" run, to the end. I know the exact notes for it, but there is no WAY I could play them as fast as the guitarist in the song does.
But anyway, I know it's not perfect and I don't think it's nearly as good as some of the other entries in this contest but, as a relative n00b, all I can say is that I worked my
ass off to learn this in a week and I'm proud of it, damnit!! :P Haha.
