Yours didn't suck ranma, it was really well done, and I probably would have voted for it myself if I hadn't completely overkilled Hotel California by listening to it to death. The harmonics were very well done in your video.

In the end though, I had to vote for CB, because Welcome Home is an insane song, and I really enjoyed listening to your rendition of it. They were all really good though, it was tough to choose....

Thanks man. Means a lot. Couple more runs through and I could've had it down perfectly (couple rough parts here and there, but hey...).

      It's a close race!

      Definitely not!

My blind clicking ended up on Oneiro's, but yours was definitely great! If I was forced to pick, yours would probably tie for first with Oneiro's.

Don't get discouraged. It was great!

No it didn't ranma.. it was good. I can only think that the song you chose was the wrong choice.. but I don't know.. maybe some improv would have improved your chances, maybe? But what the hell do I know?

VERY tough call. I liked all the entries. In the end for me, based on a combination of complexity and faithfulness to the original, it came down to Oneiro and Ranma - and Ranma took it.

I would have loved to do this one... I've had some great "verbatim" solos worked out in the distant past, but resurrecting any of them would have been a huge project and I haven't even had time to breathe this week. I would have been a choice between the guitar solo to Reelin' In The Years by Steely Dan or I've Seen All Good People by Yes.

We decided to just make it 'rock solo,' period.

Why can't I vote for two?! Grr... CB's and O's are tied for my vote. I really like CB's choice of song and playing, but O did awesome on that last bit of Stricken. My vote goes to Oneironaut for this one. Man, that was some quick fret-work, no matter what you say.

Oneiro and ranma, good work too!
