OK, what do you want to know? I looked at the circuit. You will be seriously disappointed if you build this. It will deliver a shock to the victim, but not what I would call a 'stunning' shock.
The IC and resistors make an oscillator which drives the transistor. The transistor switches current from the battery to the transformer. The diode reverse biased between the collector and emitter keeps the transistor from being fried by the inductive spike from the transformer when the magnetic field collapses.
There are a couple of problems with this design.
1) The battery is kind of small
2) The transformer is a little small
It will make enough of a shock to anger someone, but, I would hesitate to call this a stun gun.
It is strange you posted this. I was digging through a box at an antique store today. It was an "Any item in box, just $1".
I FOUND A TASER!!! I then spent an additional 99 cents for a new battery clip and it worked!
Scarey little bugger. Said it was rated for 100,000 volts and I believe it. Strong arc across 3 inches. I am seriously afraid of this beastie!

I editted last post and almost forgot, you can buy any of these parts at your local Radio Shack.
It might be interesting to build the first circuit, just to get started. I am sure you can find more advanced pland on the internet for a stronger version.
The addition of a few voltage doubler stages, a power transistor, and a transformer with more windings on the secondary would help matters a LOT!

well i took a kodak disposable camera and opened it (theres a way to do this without wasting the film, so you can still get it developed)...
The first thing i did was put on rubber dishwashing gloves so that i dont accidentally shock myself. Then i took out the bettery and pressed the flash button. Then i took the light bulb out... (hard to do without breaking it) then i like got a metal thing thats like two needles pointed at each other but its one piece and i put it in place of the light bulb. Then i put the battery back in and then closed it up and taped it up except for the place where the battery goes i punched a hole and made a door thingy so i could re-power it up. Then i shocked my evil russian friend and hr got really pissed but i made it up to him by giving him a tut similar to this one minus the rubber gloves rule and then he came back the next day with a big blister on his thumb and he had fried his nerve endings so haha sucks for him well yeah.... Then instead of a pueny 1.5 volt AA battery and hooked it up for a car battery and well... it exploded and i got shocked yet again for... gosh i cant even remember how many times

Radio Shack sells lots of small plastic boxes in assorted sizes from about 2x4 inches on up. Any of those woud work. Building this circuit on a perforated board with point-to-point wiring would result in a curcuit board about 2 inches square.
Good luck! I had a lot of fun experimenting with circuits like that when I was in high school!

Steven: Ugh. That sorta tingled.
Father: Now take a shoe off.
Steven takes a shoe off.
Father: Now touch the fence.
Steven: ummmmm... ok.
Steven touches fence.
Steven gets what feels like a bajillion volts down the right part of his body, making him jump around saying every cuss word under the sun.
My hand was sorta paralyzed for a few minutes afterwards. Stupid electric fence.
