Yes. All natural plants should be legal for growth and personal use. Synthetics is another thing.
While most people will support the legalization of cannabis for medicinal or practical reasons, I support it from the philosophical standpoint that the government should not be in charge of what a person puts into their own body. (In fact, as an anarchist, I'm against the use of all law.) Plus, me likes it. Seriously, I do not understand people who don't get why weed isn't awesome.
I found a nice video detailing our present situation here.

Although it paints a bit of an idealistic picture at the beginning, the message is still true nonetheless.
Legalization, or prohabition, has a much deeper significance. One cannot, through the legislative process, issue an effective judgment in complete disregard to individual psychologies. It is perfectly sane to give one man a gun, but perfectly insane to give it to another.
Perfectly sane to let one man rule over his body, but perfectly insane to let another.
Perhaps a time will come when government starts from the inside instead of from the outside. From the individual as measured against a standard in psychological profile. Then, one will not have a vote, because one will not have to cast an opinion based on ignorance.
