Would this work?
:D So I have been trying to figure out a way to induce lucid dreams since the only one I've had was because of a WILD and I haven't been able to induce one via DILD yet. The other day I came up with this idea of making a sign that says "are you dreaming?" and posting it near my bed. That way, whenever I see it In will be able to question reality and hopefully it will carry on into my dreams (for those times when I have false awakenings and never realize it).
I am not sure whether or not this will work so I am hoping someone might be able to give me some feedback or perhaps point me to another post where this has been discussed :)

l've tried most tehniques [even bought the Nova Dreamer some years ago]. The nova dreamer did work the first night and gave me a lot of really vivid dreams with flashing lights to indicate l was dreaming. Unfortunately, lt's also expensive to buy and uncomfortable to wear.
l've tried ordinary supplements like B6, Gotu Kola, Holy Basil etc. They do make the dreams more vivid' l believe but in my case, not lucid. The only sure-fire method l found that definitely works is to get a notepad and write 'l am dreaming' about 20-30 times every hour throughout the day. Pretty soon it get's into the subconscious or whatever and enters your dreams. You could try a thick rubber band on your wrist perhaps and flick it now and then throughout the day saying 'l am dreaming'. l know this isn't practical for most ppl and they''ll probably get bored, but when l stuck to the first method, the lucid dreams came fast and furious. Some were more vivid than others and that's what l'm working on now.
l've tried things like you mention, but usually l find it isn't strong enough for the subconscious to retain or even notice. Might work though, l'm no expert. Perhaps if you wrote it in luminous paint or something.

It couldn't hurt. I would suggest giving your sign a unique look and visualizing that very sign while you are falling asleep.

Ok thanks! I actually just recently had my best lucid dream ever via DILD. I don't know if it had anything to do with my sign (maybe it helped because it reminded me to question reality frequently). I will definitely check out some of the other methods you mentioned. Thanks for your feedback :D
