Suggest audio based on info?

Hi Im gonna give you a little info and Id really appreciate if you could suggest an audio file (preferably on youtube) that would work best for me.I first read about LDs about 5 months ago and had about 10LDs,now only maybe 3 of them were fairly lucid the others lucidity level was very low or Id wake up soon things like that.I never did anything special to achieve lucidity. 2 of my "good" LDs were using WBTB technique and I had to get up at 3am anyway to study (I prefer studying than going to sleep again over getting up early,studying and going to school).It was cool, I kinda consciously fell into a dream. Now I really wanna LD again so I got some melatonin and B6.First day I tried 1mg melatonin,100mg B6 and nothing,second day I increased the dose again nothing,just vague memories from dreams (Ive had a lot of better dream recollections without any supplements). Tonight I plan to take 3mg of melatonin and 250mg B6.If that doesnt work for at least recalling a dream Im done with these supplements.Anyway,I wanna use an audio lucid aid to optimize my chances. Now I dont really understand about alpha,beta,delta waves or whatever and dont know which I should use,how long it should be and such so if you could recommend one that you think will work (maybe binaural beats from youtube or something) I would be really grateful.

Hi there. I'll give you a helping hand and some advice.
Recently I've been experimenting with musically induced lucid dreams, and it seems to work for me. My method is when I've got a spare day when I don't need to be awake early in the morning, I'll use an alarm to awaken myself before daybreak, usually 6am, and then return to sleep with some headphones on, plugged into my CD player which plays a CD on continuous repeat. I've been documenting my experiments in a separate thread in this forum if you desire to read about my progress and experiences.
As for the vitamins and supplements, I stay clear of those, preferring to rely on my own abilities to achieve lucidity (don't want to become chemically dependent over here).
As for the waves you spoke of, the brain radiates different wavelengths during phases of sleep, which can be monitored and measured with an EEG (Electroencephalogram). Alpha waves are commonly seen during drowsy and relaxed wakefulness; beta waves are mostly seen in light sleep (stages 1 and 2), and the very large and slow delta waves are seen in very deep sleep (stages 3 and 4), when brain activity is lowest. After a while, the brain will reverse through these stages into REM sleep, which consists of brain waves very similar to those in the waking state, and is when most remembered dreams occur. REM stages increase in frequency and length as the night goes on, which is why I do my lucid dreaming in the early morning now when chances of success are higher.
I have never heard of binaural beats, and doubt their effectiveness. I stick with my technique described above.

Thanks very much,I really appreciate your detailed reply.I tried melatonin and B6 last night with a fairly high dose and nothing.I didnt feel one effect.I only remember fragments of my dream and I think it wasnt more vivid then Ive usually dreamt.I didnt even feel especially groggy in the morning. maybe it was because I went to sleep around midnight and woke up at 7.Ill try once more in the weekend,if that doesnt work Im done with supplements,at least these ones. Ill definetel try music idnduction.That bird sing method another guy suggested souns great,Ill give that a shot too.I think I could have a LD every night with WBTB but I really cant get up that early if I dont have to.I also dont wanna have a dream journal because I have weird dreams and really dont wanna risk anyone reading that.

Firstly, I have to say that having a dream journal is a vital part of learning how to lucid dream. I have filled up many over the past years. Their main purpose is to record dreams which you can later analyse for recurring dream signs, and of course to write down particularly memorable and enjoyable dreams which you do not want to forget. I strongly recommend you get one. I know how you feel about not wanting anyone else to read them, but if you live among respectful people who you know are trustworthy, you should have nothing to fear. If not, keep it hidden somewhere during the day, but always have it by your bed when you sleep.
And yes, train your dream recall by yourself. It took me about five or six months to get up to at least one dream remembered per night, but of course everyone progresses at different speeds.
When you say 'bird song' method, I assume you mean setting an alarm to the sound of birdsong? Just to let you know, I have a friend who tried that because he thought it would be a nice thing to wake up to. Unfortunately, it only made him dream about being attacked by a flock of birds, and he woke up quite frightened.

Ah, I see now. I have my digital watch beep every hour, and that's when I'll do a reality check. Seems similar to that bird method.
By the way, I know a bit of background history relating to the WBTB method. If you look through old literature, right back to the Roman times, it was quite common to have two periods of sleep everyday. It's only recently now we have so much technology and artificial light to keep us awake, that we sleep in a single block. The gap between the two sleeps was is known as "The Watch", and people would sit quietly and do things by candlelight (read, knit, etc.) and go back to bed a few hours later. The thing here is that you'll experience a rebound of REM and therefore some pretty intense dreams.
Someone did an experiment where he lived by himself in a cabin in a forest for a few months, cut off from modern technology, and very slowly his sleep pattern began to naturally change into two night-time blocks, and he was able to experience the enigmatic Watch.
This is probably why the WBTB method works.
By the way, my dream journals are always proper physical A4 notepads. I dislike the idea of having a digitally-based dream journal, as booting up your computer takes valuable time in which you may lose important details of your dreams. And what happens if your computer breaks like they so often do?

Binaural beats are actually quite effective aids to lucid dreaming. I'm actually quite surprised how little emphasis has been given to binaural beats in this forum.
