Haha yea I know :doh: The first thing I did was search for any threads on emergen-c :tongue: I'll keep posting my results until it seems like they're relatively consistent or I run out :tongue: I realized after I woke up that it says you can take four packets in one day, not just one... hmm.... ;)

Yea, ;) Alot of that stuff will just get peed out if you take too much, and these are still very low amounts. The excess vitamin C is probably the biggest factor, and even so isn't a terribly huge worry. ODing on it may give you diarrhea, kidney stones, or loads of farts, and even so I'm not sure these packs have nearly enough to cause any sort of catastrophic damage to your body. Maybe if you took like 6. I don't think I'd ever take more than the four they say you can take in a day (hell I don't think I'll ever take more than two), because that's unnecessary, and any time you over consume things you're just asking for trouble. These ARE supposed to be dietary supplements, but taking 1-2 packs on top of eating regularly, eh.

Anyway, I had two packets before bed last night and don't remember a single dream :? I slept from 4am - 10:30am. I'll try another packet again tonight.

Well, I probably know why it has less niacin. Too much niacin is harmful for pregnant women; them being one of the larger portion of customers (I would suppose that they need the extra vitamins), it's just a measure to make sure that they don't harm the mothers/babies.

Also, bananas are good night-time foods. Also, they contain B6 (as well as many other vitamins) in conjunction with Tryptophan. The B6 helps metabolize the tryptophan, turning it into serotonin and creating for clearer dreams.

On a side note, I had some quinoa (South American grain), tofu and onions in a bowl today, and I slept like a brick afterward. Probably because the quinoa contains, also, many vitamins and a lot of protein, too.

I'm addicted to these. Didn't want to start a new thread though. Sometimes I eat four of them a day. Straight out of the packet. Gotta be careful you don't eat too much at once though or the powder goes up your nose. :D

I also think they help with lucidity as well as giving you energy and tasting yummy. (raspberry flavor only though)
