I've read varying accounts on this board of the merits of B12 and B6.
Has anyone tried both, and if so, can they advise which would work the best.

has anyone tried one or the other?
General opinions welcome.
Well, I would read this thread if you have not already done so.

It tells you how to use both most effectively. Check out the video at the very bottom of the thread. Good luck!
I tried b12 Sunday night and was able to recall for the first time in a few days. I took 1000mcg just before going to sleep. I'm trying Choline now though. From what I read it seems like the best option. Both are really cheap, but b12 is easy to get a hold of, i.e. Wal-Mart. Choline is available from nutrition stores such as GNC.
This is my experience with B6: It usually increases the vividity of my dreams but it does not help with recall or lucidity. I'm basically on my own when it comes to that. I have not tried b12 or anything else for that matter, but if you take b6 drink milk with it since milk has Tryphtophan, which is needed to convert b6 into serationin
Whoops. I just realised I made a mistake.
I meant to compare B5 and B12.
As far as B6 goes, 5-HTP seems to be a good alternative.
B12 on its own produced Acetylcholine right?
But B6 needs to be taken with choline for the same.
Both said to increase dream vividity and recall.
So whats best?
I've been alternating B12 and choline for the past week. Each night I took choline I couldn't remember my dreams, which is how I am normally. Every night I've taken B12, I've remembered at least 1 dream.
I'd say go with B12, take one right before you go to sleep, at least that's what I do. I don't have any experience with B6 though.
B6 + Tryphtophan produce some variation of seratonin which is good for vivid dreams, but in my experience thats all it does
