Maybe you already discovered this but if you take a vit B pill after 7 hours of sleep and go back to sleep...not WBTB, there is a high chance the dream will be a DILD. Happened twice so far when I took the pill at that prime time but it wears off and the dream after that is normal dreaming so that means 1 LD per night/day.

I've tried B12 and B9 combo which did work.
But it does wake you up a bit (like taking red bull).
Remember, B12 just increases vividness of the dream. You must be the one to elicit lucidity!

You can also take a Tic Tac instead. If you believe it to work, there is a good chance it does.
You are saying the pill working is a placebo? I don't think so...cause I took the pill not to have LDs but to have vivid dreams and to feel better later on cause of the failed attempt. The other pill was taken a week later because I couldn't be bothered with just one LD a night to focus on it...:P. So no it's not a placebo just a way to have an LD using a pill....:D..if whoever is happy with just one.Quote:

I'm not an expert....:P but my experience of 'Dream vividness' may be compared to a TV screen...a non vivid dream would be like the contrast and brightness turned down and all I see are vague images that have no story or plot. A vivid dream is when everything is tuned up and I see everything in detail and know what is going on. Then there's bad recall where I only remember bits and pieces of what may have been a vivid dream maybe the tail end at best...:(. So when I take the pill...I remember most of it. But sometimes it's so bad..only bits and pieces...:P.

Wow, i was at winn dixie the other day and could have bought some vitamin b, i'm getting some and i will try this, thanks.

so its B9 and B12 both before going to sleep, that will make me DILD? i just need to know before i waste money on the wrong ones.

I've tried Vitamin B before, but took it before going to bed at night and got nothing. Last night, I woke up about 2:30 to go the bathroom, had a drink of water and took a Vitamin B.
It wasn't an LD, but it was an INCREDIBLY strong, LONG, , detailed, vivid dream the likes of which I haven't had for ages. Does this work long-term?
If it does, it certainly increases the likeliness of lucidity if I keep up with RCs. I've dropped off recently because my recall has deteriorated and even auto-suggestion didn't seem to be doing much. But that was awesome last night. Definitely trying it again tonight.
I don't think it's the Vitamin B. I think it's the waking up and then going back to sleep. That has ALWAYS given me lucid dreams, at least since I started having them. Honestly, in my opinion, that is THE surefire way to do it. I think you're a little closer to awake when you immediately start dreaming (which is what happens to me when I wake up from a dream, then go back to sleep) than you would be if you entered dreamstate from deep sleep. And I've found that my dreams are most lucid and controllable when I feel like I am almost on the verge of waking up. Plus, it's that last dream that's the one you remember the best, so it makes sense that this would occur for the last hour or so of your sleep (i.e. take pill after 7 hours). Plus, i lucid dream the best when it's light out, which it probably would be at that time.
Really, don't even get out of bed. If you wake up right from the dream, try to immediately go back to sleep. You should be back in the same dream, and it should be lucid and easier to control.
It's vitamin B complex pills that has everything not the individual ones.

I took them after 7 hours of sleep..:). But 1 a night is just not enough for me so I din't take anymore to test it further since it makes dream incubation difficult...:P.Quote:

Tried it again last night, didn't work.
Gonna keep trying with it, though, that dream the first night was AMAZINGLY strong and detailed, and it seems highly unlikely it was just a coincidence.

Also, just so you know, one cup of milk contains 15% of the Recommended Daily Value of B12. So having a warm glass of milk should provide you with not only a bit of Vitamin B naturally, which in turn helps your memory, it can also make you fall asleep faster (well sort of, there are only very minute sources of melatonin and tryptophan in it). This way you don't have to buy any extra supplements. Unless for this to work you need to have like 700% of the Recommended Daily Value, which I think you can get from liver, clam, mollusks, etc.

And then have a 1 to 1 transfer of memory into an LD (miracle) complete with back up plan when it did not go my way as expected...:roll:. Then stopped the pill for a while and bad recall again. But the pill cannot be taken consecutively within a 6 hour period or I'll have cramps in the head...:P. Does anyone know what causes it? Maybe it's too strong for me.
