concoction
I'm taking a concotion tonight.
Firstly I'm drinking tumeric tea. 1/2 teaspoon. steeped, covered for 10 minutes.
Then I'll be taking vitamins b-6 and b-5 and a multi b.
Then fish oil 2000mg.
then choline 250mg.
I have no idea how adding all these together will work. but i'll post tommorow about my results. Please wish me luck.

I didn't get lucid last night.
My dreams were no more vivid than usual.
I had no more dreams than usual.
I feel that taking b-6 alone is just as effective as this concoction.
I will keep trying, without the turmeric tea (tastes lousy).

I'm deleting the turmeric tonight but adding
a multi b complex ( i heard you need all the b's for the b-6 or b-5 or any b to be effective).
and adding
melatonin,
tryptophan
and
L-Theanine.
I have galantamine on order, waiting for it to arrive.
I hope to have better luck with my new vitamin mixture.
i'll post tommorow.

yikes, the addition of these new minerals knocked me out.
no real dream recall even.
This concoction is good if you need to pass out for 12 hours and wake up groggy.
I need to tweek my concoction.
Maybe just tryptophan and b-6 tonight?

Concoction sounds all witchery-like :P
Anyways, keep on experimeting and good luck
-
no luck with tryptophan and b-6 alone.
i think galantamine and choline will be the holy grail.
-
Just took b-6 alone,,nothing else and last night had a semi lucid where i was flying.
I love flying.
I Intend this is the start of many LDs.

So I was reading about your concoction, sounds interesting; might I ask where you got the idea to combined these different ingredients?
I have never tried tumeric tea, so I do not know much about it. About the Vitamins and amino acids though: I think you would have much better luck with galantamine as you mentioned. It is much more effective in aiding lucidity. If you insist on using vitamins, vitamin B6 is indeed one of the more important ones. It is only useful when taken in addition to tryptophan. Tryptophan is catalyzed by B6 to produce melatonin in the brain. I would recommend eating some turkey, or cashews, or a tryptophan supplement, along with a banana or a B6 supplement. Take before bed.
Melatonin works well before bed as well, it suppresses REM sleep for the first part of the night, causing REM rebound later, which is responsible for the vivid dreams.
Theanine is good to take along with galantamine, only after a WBTB. It won't really do much for you before bed.
Choline is usually only helpful in combination with galantamine.
Hope this helps.
