My Favorite Dream
I haven't had any lucid dreams recently.
I've been wanting to try a stabilization technique recommended by some of you.
Anyway, I thought I would share my favorite dream.
I had this dream about 3 years ago.
At the time, I had been doing alot of meditation, but no lucid dreaming techniques.
The reality:
I awoke at 6 AM, after having been sleeping for awhile.
I decided to meditate using a technique I had learned in psychology class.
I love meditating early in the morning, as the energy always seems to feel stronger.
At some point during the meditation, I must have given into my sleepiness, because I woke up a few hours later.
The dream:
I got up from my couch and began brushing my teeth.
I realized I couldn't look at the couch where my body had been sleeping moments ago.
I was unable to look at that area no matter how hard I tried.
Then, I started falling backwards slowly.
At first I was scared, and readied to catch myself.
Then I realized I was falling very slowly.
This didn't feel blurry like most of my dreams, it was VERY real.
When I reached ground level, I started floating toward where my body was lying on the couch (which I still couldn't look at).
As my body floated to couch-level, I awoke slowly.
I got up again, and walked a few steps before beginning to fall again.
This time, I welcomed the falling feeling.
However, this time when I reached ground-level, I spun in a full circle before returning to my body on the couch.
As my body reached the couch, I seamlessly awoke, without the usually groggy feeling of waking up.
I remember it feeling as though my eyes were open before I woke up, because I could see a certain part of the couch before and after I awoke, with no shut-eye in between.
NOTES:
This felt nothing like any dream I had ever had, there was a strong sense of reality.
Also, when I was floating, I had no control at all, which is not characteristic of most dreams I have.
I had no fear in this dream, the whole experience was relaxing.

That's one of amazing things about dreams, they can be as vivid as waking life, or even more vivid, everything is possible in dreams, congrats on experience! ;)

Thanks :)
That's true, the potential is incredible.
Dreams like this leave an impression on me and give me the incentive to pursue LDs further.
I noticed some type of section on this forum for classes?
I followed a few subcategories and felt lost; how would I join one of these classes? Is there a fee?

Feel free to join one, there are absolutely no fees whatsoever, just make a workbook in class's section and start postings. ;)
If you are just starting with lucid dreaming, i'd recommend Intro Class, read this on how to sign up: http://www.dreamviews.com/intro-clas...tro-class.html :)
If you need help with DILD and awareness in general, join DILD class, http://www.dreamviews.com/dild/13056...g-started.html :peek:
Also here's WILD class along with an excellent guide for method WILD , there are no workbooks so just post questions and experiences in relevant threads. :poof:
And finally if you have good number of lucid dreams already here's Dream Control and Stabilization class: http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-cont...n-up-here.html :D

Great, thank you!
I think I will begin with the introductory class.
I haven't had any structure to my LDing yet, and I would like to start fresh with mentors who encourage the right techniques.
I am very excited, I'll post my workbook right now!
