Had my first induced lucid dream yesterday!
Well I can say I finially did it. I've been reading about lucid dreaming for 3 months now and have been trying to get WILD down. I had 2-3 lucid dreams in the past before I knew what they were, but I finially had one that I induced.
The past month I have had progress before the lucid dream. I was trying to WILD during a nap, and went unconcious for a minute then woke up in sleep paralysis. I couldn't move and saw an evil spirit, etc. This kind of scared me for a day or so, but I got over it.
After that occassion I achieved sleep paralysis 2 more times. I think I notice the ringing noise now and it wakes me up just enough to not actually wake up.. it's strange. something to do with that buzzing noises.
Anyways, yesterday I took a nap and just went with the flow with falling asleep. I work at wal mart, and during the imagery part I was having a daydream of some sort of me building an endcap. For some reason there were 2 tiny pallet jacks stuck in the endcap, and I tried pulling it out with a lot of effort. Right when I tried to pull it, I was in sleep paralysis. This time I didn't get scared and I let it continue some more.
Shortly after that I saw a green glowing door surrounded by blackness. I knew this was my time to jump in my dream, so I ran and jump through the door and I was in the dream!
As soon as I entered the dream world, I was so excited I ran and just took off flying without even thinking about it. I landed shorlty after that. Basically the whole dream, I let my mind control the scenery and just went with the flow just to analyise how a dream actually works. I did some things I wanted to do, but also let my dream take form itself as well.
At one point I was on my front porch which is screened in, and just jumped through the screen. After that I went and picked up a stick and to my suprise I could feel the weight of the stick and the texture. I rubbed my hands on the grass and also felt it. It was amazing! Then some people asked if I had a lighter, I just stuck out my finger and a bright purple glow came out the tip of my finger and I lit their cigarettes.. lol that was pretty fun.
The only thing I DIDN'T like about my first induced lucid dream was how long it was!! I've read that people's longest is like 10-30 minutes. Well mine lasted about an hour! The last 15 minutes of it or so, I was wanting to wake up but I couldn't. I imagined myself lying on my bed and taking my sleeping mask off and tried a bunch of things, but I couldn't wake up. It was odd, when I would "take of my sleeping mask" I would feel my face and the mask was still on, lol! I got entertained again by taking off my sleeping mask about 10 times in a row, pretty weird stuff.
I tried getting real excited to wake up, but nothing worked. After about an hour I finially woke up. An hour in the dream world felt like 3 hours. In the end I was glad I woke up so I could reflect on the whole event. Next time I do a WILD, I'll make sure I'll have plently of things planned out to do next time. I will also work on my dream control and change the scenery myself next time. Maybe trying too hard to change your dreams makes them end quicker? Who knows.
Anyways, I hoped everyone enjoyed my first lucid dream report! Thanks for reading

Congrats on your WILD! One hour lucid is awesome. Most people struggle with waking up too soon so there's not a lot of posts on how to end an LD.
Some people say if you close your dream eyes and keep them closed you can wake yourself up. Other people find if they try and have lucid dream sex they wake up right away :o
It will be interesting to see if you continue to have long LDs or if doing dream control or tasks affects the length.
