wow, i think that many FA is kind of an amazing thing. But also very frightening. Generally, i say i'm afraid of nothing. Spiders? they're just small insects. Heights? as long as i'm strapped in. Darkness? i just can't see. But i have to admit. I haven't ever had a LD, that i can remember, and i'm a little scared by some of the things i've heard. I'm not going to stop, but it does frighten me a little. Which was actually kind of tough for me to admit.

Very interesting dream. Reminds me a bit of a "bad trip" from psychedelics (as I've heard them described)--at least the part about fearing a permanent disconnection from reality. I wonder if anyone who has had both experiences (tripping and LDing) would describe them as similar.

so would you say b6 is the most efficient in helping with lucid dreams?

I hope you don't think I am too stupid, but that dream you had Janis makes me want to have B6 hehehe.
I stand for FA's
As for your question WindsOfPlague, the answer is that it would require much more research and comparing to find out. All I can say for now is that B6 is most helpful for Dream recall. I am not sure about the lucid part though :blahblahblah: :ghosttown:

Hey janis your lucky i've had those kind of dreams once or twice a year so you should be glad that its happened once and its happaned where you now know how to control dreams.
I have many FA and theres always a monster pinning me down so i can't move and if i strugle free i get hurt horrificly so the best thing i've learnt to do is just stay calm. Being calm in nightmares is the best thing to do because your fear dosn't keep intesivefing and your a lot calmer so your mind stops creating those images and the nightmare starts to fade into a more peaceful nightmare (i know its an oxymoron but its still like a nightmare its that its not harming you as much as it was) so just stay calm. When i have a FA i just stay calm and im just calm enough to strugle free.
Plus i havn't been doing lucids lately because i've been at school but now its summer i have all 6 weeks ( damn thats not a long holiday but still its good enogh).

I had a dream exactly like that, but shorter in length at one time. My mom used to give me b vitamins because I was always sleepy or something, maybe there's a link.
Well anyway, the dream went like this
I awoke in my bed, and got up to go open the door, to go to the bathroom or something, and as I began to turn the doorknob, a ghost or monster or some kind of evil energy being made me immaterial and pulled me through the door. So I awoke out of fear, and sat up in bed, and went to the door to open it, and as I was turning it something else on the other side tried to turn it, and I tried to prevent it by keeping the knob from turning. Eventually, the same evil creature made me immaterial and pulled me through the door again. And I woke up in bed, and went to the door. This happened 6-8 times, and I realized I was dreaming quite quickly, I would go to the door and try to flick the light on and off to test, but when it changed minimally I concluded I was awake wrongly and it happened all over again. I tried running out into the hall, but whatever it was cut my head off. when I finally awoke for real, I was far too frightened to leave my bed for at least 2 hours.
