First LD!!
Last night I was waking up and writing down my dreams alot, and this morning I woke up and stayed awake for about 45 minutes and went to bed. I tried the MILD tech (which I never tried even though everyone said thats what worked for them the most) All of a sudden I was in a dream talking to 2 people and I asked myself if I should tell myself I'm dreaming, I did and my whole body felt tingly (like when your foot falls asleep and you move it). Everything went black and silent. I wasn't sure if I woke up or not so I slowly opened my eyes to see. I found myself in my room. I sat there for a few seconds and a huge lion went jumping across my room. I flinched and it turned into a bunch of cats. I wanted to see a person so I closed my eyes and imagined my girlfriend. When I opened my eyes there were 6 aliens standing in my room. I closed my eyes and tried again, once again I opened them and they were there. So I closed them and though about spinning to get out of my room (even though I was lying down). I "woke" up at my GFs, and I told her I just had a lucid dream, but I was still dreaming not realizing it.
The whole LD only lasted about 10-15 seconds, everything was pretty blury, I didnt get to move around or do anything, and the aliens scared the crap out of me, but I have to say it was AMAZING!!! :o
Thanks to everyone who replied to my past posts which helped me a bunch!
I will keep you all updated about my LDs. :D

congrats on your first ld.
you managed to conjure up some nice dreamsigns and also a false awakening. after the first, the following ld's come easier.
Keep MILD'ing and always remember that it is just a dream. Eventaully you will be able to withstand such things as a dream character playing golf and you being the target.
Or having more aliens and maybe even carrying a conversation with them without flinching.
Stay Lucid!!

Firstly congrats on the first LD.
I laughed at the imagining your gf and you get aliens, must have been a shock. I remember when i first tried to "conjure" a fit girl, got a weird old lady shouting, but i turned her nice in the end ;)
My LDs have been blurry as well but they have gotten clearer after each one so it just takes time to improve.
Any way hope you have many more LDs in the future :)

Congratulations on your first LD :D
Instead of making stuff, try to look a bit around. Touch the surfaces and such. I read that is a good way to make the dream more clear and vivid, and increases the control.

Nice job on the first LD, keep it up! A good way to make the dream real vivid and stable is to concentrate on your palm. Look at all the creases and lines, and focus really hard on how real it looks. Once you look up and around, your entire dream should be very realistic.
