Help, dream characters are Hurting me!

Im'e scared of going to sleep at night now.. Incase i go lucid again!, i just woke up from a lucid dream.. cant exactly remember why i went lucid, But aneyway.. I was talking to this dream character.. And i had no idea who he was, ive seen him somewere before tho.. But i dont no were.. And he told me that he was a demon, counjoured up from a ouija baord, and that in a dream is the only way he can finally get to me.. i went, Haha.. Who do you think you are! he goes. YOUR WORSTE NIGHTMARE!!. his eyes began to go pale and white and he hit me agressivly accross the head!.. i fell to the ground!, i tried to make him dissapear.. It wouldnt work, i wasnt in controll of him!.. i tried to wake up. and he bagan to Lift me up off the ground, and he through me into the well. at this point i was incredibly scared.. i didnt think it was a dream, becasue it was acctually painfull and i could feel erything he did to me. I summoned a base ball bat, and hit him accross the head, he was too fast and dodged out the way before the bat made contact with his head. so i decided to protect myself. i obtained the power of the avatar ( controll over all 4 elements ).. and decided to Monipulate the earth around me so he couldnt get to me.. I bended the earth into a little dome around myself and tried to wake up.. i blinked hard 2 times but still failed! i had no other choice.. , i thought to myself, if this is real.. there is only one thing to do. Fight him, this was the worste mistake ive ever made!.. I exploded the earth around me but it all just decintergrated before it hit him.. I then tried to barge him out of my way running really fast.. as i got closer he got bigger, and i ran into his body.. the impact was soo painfull and evrything started to go white.. i hear a loud buzzin noise that startled me and i found myself sat up at the end of my bed screaming my head off.. i was in so much physical pain i could hardly move. after a while the pain went.. and i didint sleep for the rest of the night.. has this happened to aneyone before.. what can i do, i dont want to go sleep to night. incase he reveals himself again!!.. i feel as if he is waching me right now.. someone, please HELP!! :shock:

Do you have an ouija board? Burn it! Then, go see an excorcist.

First of all don't take it so seriously. Obviously your mind is creating this because you think somethings out for you. Also, if you feel as if he's watching you right now you may need to seek professional help because that's borderline schizophrenia/paranoia. I'd say, if it's not a medical thing, then it's just a fear you need to conquer. Let him know he's not real and talk with him, or beat the living hell out of him.

I am saying this just to cheer you up, but there are sometimes, dc's whit a lot of power. Just a fragment of your imagination. You should worry only if he reveals again, but I am pretty sure he wont.. Dont think about him would be the best thing to do.

Have you found God?

Seems to me your only thinking about it, or satens getting into your head and making you think your powerless to him, like you said...

Saten can get to you in many ways, but to see him you will have to see him thorugh imagination. I am a strong beilever in God and pray to him every night, knowing that he is more powerful then the demon, saten, and as long as I have faith God will protect me from saten.

Just what I think, you may think that i'm out of line and babling on to non-sence but this is what I believe.

Honestly, this has A LOT to do with what you believe in.

If you are a follower of Jesus and do believe in God and Satan, then I can give you some advice on what to do.

If not, then I'm not really sure along what line to give you advice, because the only experiences I've heard of Ouija boards ARE bad but they are based off Christian beliefs.

In the dreamworld "What you can't see won't hurt you."

Dream Boat, I always ask for protection before I try to WILD but it can also be done before you fall asleep.

I begin by mentally repeating the following protection mantra: "My mind, my body, my soul and my spirit are protected by pure white light. May only those of pure white light come near me, may only those of pure white light touch me." (I do realize that some feel that there is nothing that can harm you astrally.. but this mantra comforts me.)

Once when I had just become lucid and was walking toward the front door I saw but more importantly "felt" something evil coming towards me. I tried to make out what it was but it was too dark and seemed more shadow than solid. I felt no fear but stated simply "I am protected by pure white light", raised my arms and shot white energy balls from my fists into it. Whatever it was disappeared and I went on with the rest of my dream.

I must state that the reason I was able to fire on the "shadow" was that not only did I believe that I could shoot energy balls but that I "expected" that the energy balls would come and that they'd remove whatever it was.. and they did.

My guess is because the dream you just had, you most likly didnt feel pain, just in shock and horror from what you've just beem through, unable to defeat him and make him go away makes your dream more like reality and not a dream, so when you awakened you felt as if this dream may have been part of your reality and went into shock. thats what i'd think.

Its normal if you have strong feelings and emotions in a dream, and you wake up imidiatly, that the feelings would stay.I waked up in a lot of fear, happy, horny and so on, just because I dreamt so just before it. And my guess is that when it is strong pain, it is even easier to be felt right after dreaming. Its your mind 100%. If you are not hurt and having pain, is either you making yourself have it (subconsiously) or someone else making you have it. And since he can get you only in a dream, he cant do shit like that to the 'wake' you. Or some shit like that. Just dont think about this guy, and everything will be ok... I hope so.

Excellent advice Clairity. I was going to link to that phrase of yours but I see you already provided it.

Getting around in the dream world is a bit like giving a speech Dream Boat.

It can be real scary the first time you do it, but then gets easier after you have done it a few times.

As you continue to venture out into the dream world in lucid dreams you will become better at handling these kinds of situations.

Not too long ago one of these entities floating right over the top of me about the time I got lucid.

To overcome his presence I began concentrating on drawing white light into myself, after which my spirit shot straight up out of my body into a higher realm where the bastard spirit that had been hovering over me obviously could not follow me.

In your case since you feel as if he might be watching you right now, you might want to concentrate on a phrase like Clairity provided in addition to some other helpful phrases.

By filling yourself with positive thoughts and phrases this spirit will soon feel unwelcome and leave.


The 23rd Psalm is another good one:

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters;
3 he restores my soul.
He leads me in right paths for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley,

I found this part very interesting. He seemed to have experienced a concussion in his dream. Very Wierd...:?

Dream Boat, I have sort of a similar problem. I've been concentrating on how I was going to stand up to the DC's and not let them scare me. I didn't plan this, but last night I was in a classroom situation, and for defense I pulled out a big, sharp pencil. In the dream I believed that this would be an
effective weapon, and it was.

So like Clairity said, if you believe it, it will work. Just concentrate while you are awake on how you will not let yourself be intimidated in your own dream. They can't really hurt you, and when you believe that, you will be OK.

Like Moonbeam and Clairity have said, if you believe it will work it will work, because in the dream world your imagination rules.

So the way to fight this thing is with your imagination.

I pray before I go to bed, and I haven't had a real nightmare since I was five; even though they used to be pretty common before then.

You ARE more powerfull than anything in your dreams; I took three .38 caliber rounds to the chest in a dream a while ago, and it phaze me. BUT you DO feel pain in your dreams. I got bit a while back, too, and that hurt!

I would also have to agree about the ouji boards. They ARE evil. I would urge you to either pray before you go to bed, or find someone to pray for you, because there are spiritual beings out there, and some of them ARE demons.

(In case you can't tell, I'm a christian.)

To get rid of this being who you feel is watching you even in the physical Dream Boat, use your imagination to do that also.

Picture a very powerful and brilliant white shield surrounding you which nothing negative or evil can penetrate, and picture this being being on the outside of that shield unable to get through it.

Then expand that shield, making it larger, so that it covers your entire house, then your entire yard, and finally your entire neighborhood, and city.

I'm certainly not against praying either as long as you believe it is going to work.

The best prayer I've found is one of thanksgiving, giving thanks for the protection you are receiving.

Here's a lucid I had last night which demonstrates one way to handle adverse characters that appear in a persons dream using ones imagination.

Although I don't encounter these beings all the time they do seem to appear in about 1 out of every 3 lucid dreams I have.

I see an image of a tall building in the distance so fly over to it in my imagination.

Still not lucid I imagine myself flying up toward the top of the building.

Toward the top of the building I find myself in the dream and lucid, able to fly all over the place.

I find myself flying very slow and very low, about a foot off the ground, able to fly forward, but not going any higher.

I imagine myself floating up after which I find I can fly higher by concentrating on floating up at the same time I concentrate on going forward. So, once again I am now on my way.

I find myself flying up a long, windy, mountain road where at the top of the road I run into an adversary.

I concentrate on expanding my white light out from myself, and when it reaches my adversary he explodes in many small pieces.

I hear a lot of applause coming out of the sky cheering me on.

As I look out I find that I am on a very high cliff looking out over some very beautiful scenery far below.

Since I am aware that I am dreaming, I decide to dive off of the cliff, so take a big dive off of the cliff.

At first I am just floating in the air, but then feel myself floating slowly downward.

Then, all of a sudden I find myself falling downward at a great deal of speed, somewhat terrifying until I come to a stop right before reaching the bottom, and then find myself being shot right back up to the top again.

I find this so much fun that I repeat this movement another 10 to 15 times, allowing myself to fall freely down to the bottom, and then shooting myself back up to the top, enjoying one of the best carnival type of experiences I even experienced.

I then begin wondering what other creatures might be out here watching me, and what they might be thinking about me doing this, and if they might be planning to attack me again.

I see nothing when I look around though.

I then find myself laying in my bed in my dream and see some mean man walk into my room.

Once again I expand my white light out from my body, and when it reaches him he disintegrates.

I sense the forces of good are smiling at me at this point although I hear no applause this time.

As I am beginning to have a difficult time remembering everything that has happened in this dream, I decide to get up and record the dream before I have forgotten the entire dream.

All this advice is good. But burn the ouija board just in case.

I always get that feeling when I WILD and am on the verge of entering a dream.

As for the OP if you're religious I'm certain praying/meditating would help out psychologically tons reading that you're faced with an oppressive force.

Dreams can sometimes have negative lasting feelings, makes sense, positive dreams do that as well. There may be a deeper meaning to this, it is also possible that the dream highlights possible psych health issues. It's good you've talked about the dream though,that should help you feel a bit better.

It may or may not be part of your subconsciousness. Work with it to find wholeness (as carl c jung would say..).
