I just remembered... I did WILDs from the age of 8!
This memory seems to have been triggered from a thread I replied in, and the fact that I just slept for 12 hours and I feel very awake.
When I was 8, I got a new best friend. I told her about my lucid dreams, and she said that she has them, too. This, I have remembered for a long time, but I had forgotten about how we WILDed together. At almost every weekend, we stayed over at each others' places, and especially when I was at her place (big house) we used to get up at 7-8 in the morning, watch cartoons for a bit (maybe an hour or so? Don't remember) and we would then go back to bed, for the purpose of having lucid dreams. My WILD technique was simply to fall asleep, and I would enter a dream, but I did lose consciousness in between. :P Once we were both awake again, we would tell each other what we dreamt. I do remember dreaming of My Little Pony a few times, and horses. It must have been so natural to me that I just forgot... :shock:
I also did this when I was a bit older, and stayed at my new best friend's place, at junior high school. She wasn't as interested, and I don't think she had lucid dreams, but we did the same thing, got up early and watched TV, then went back to bed, and I had some cool lucid dreams on purpose. I dreamt of her a few times, and she tended to get killed in them. So everytime I told her "hey, I had a dream about you last night!" she would reply with "great, how did I die this time?"
I had to share. :P It was just too awesome to have these memories coming back to me.
