What do you thnk the bst part of Lucids is and why

I think the best part is beign able to do whatever you want with no consequences...I.E. being able to crash cars...blow-up buildings.....(i have a crazy mind lol)
I think the best part is the absolute freedom and confidence you feel when you first realize you're dreaming. There's no limits. It's an incredibly wonderful feeling - almost overwelming at first.

Seriously though, I just think it's extremely liberating to have absolutely no repercussions for your actions - and not just social, punitive repercussions, I also mean like the kind of physical repercussions you would get from jumping off a building or whatever else you may decide to do. Lately it's just that knowledge itself which is half the fun for me, I'm kind of over the whole dream control thing (except for flying, of course :D).
That first initial 'awakening'
Well, IRL I'm not a very social person. I don't trust people easily, and I hate people getting too close to me. I've only just started to let a very select few of my small group of friends hug me. Unless of course they sneak up on me.
But in my lucid dreams, I can quite happily feel like I can trust my guide 100%, and that I can cuddle up to him. Quite strange really, given that I didn't quite know that he was the first few times. There's just this really calm, relaxing feeling. It's amazing. You don't know them, but at the same time, you do. I just don't get that feeling with anyone else, and I find myself filled with energy and unable to wait until the next lucid dream.
I haven't quite been able to achieve much other than a finger through the palm yet, so I'm still working out what else I can do.

Anyways, what's the best part about lucid dreaming you ask?
I don't know, something about complete freedom, and the ability to live out your wildest dreams (no pun intended), is just amazing.

My favorite thing about lucid dreaming is having the opportunity to explore how the mind works.
Like recently I've had some incredibly vivid dreams in which familiar surroundings were correct in every tiny detail, including things that I wouldn't know well enough to draw a picture of while awake (and I'm very good at drawing realistically). Because I'm lucid in these dreams I have the ability to appreciate this, inspect things more closely, and marvel at what my mind is capable of.

That you can get it on with movie stars and have it seem just like real life. Who wouldn't want that?
I don't really care about the freedom from limitations. In fact, limitations in dreams make them all the more interesting and real. There are, of course, days when I'm so stressed that I just want to fly around in a structureless world, but usually I prefer interacting with a society of some sort.
I like lucid dreams because they provide an escape from this mundane world. I'm in a world dull in coloration, where schedules (although it is comforting to know exactly how the day will go) dominate one's week. Wake, wash, dress, brush, eat, brush, drive, work, drive, eat, brush, dress, sleep. Why waste the eight hours between sleep and wake, unless I dedicate myself to fantasy?
Realising there is no spoon :P
Srysly? Erm, total and complete freedom- the sky really IS the limit (unless you destroy that too)!
I know what you mean Abra . . . with the schedules and the freedom. I like my dreams to surprise me and let my subconscious lead the way (after all my conscious mind gets to lead the rest of the time) so I've never had the desire to take complete control.
The sky isn't the limit :angry: I've flown way above the sky :P
My favourite part is that there is no consequences.
Escaping reality and shaping the world (and beyond) as I want. :D
And I know this is typical, but I love to fly. Over dark mountains in rainy weather. :dreaming:

The no repercussions other people have mentioned.
One of my favourite parts about lucid dreaming is the "natural high" I experience for the day after my LD. For some reason, after I have an LD, I feel refreshed and happy for the whole day. After regular dreams, I feel tired and I get angered more easily. So I really like the good feeling in the dream and for the day after.
I think the best part is the peace that you can only find in your mind. Blowing up the world is a close second though.:P
I like that transition to the dream. One minute you're lying in bed, counting sheep, bored as hell, wondering if you are going to get enough sleep to work the next day. The next minute you are watching an amazing dream world of your own creation form around you. The transition is never the same, and never makes any sense logically. I am constantly amazed at the clever ways my brain drags me into a dream.
It's the relaxing. Laying down ontop of a highrise and looking as far as one can imagine with a mild warm wind blowing... it's great.
For me, it's the realisation that you're dreaming. It's just amazing when you think, "Hey, I'm dreaming! I'm dreaming!" Then you realise you can do what you want.
I've only had one LD so after I have more, my opinion will probably change on the topic.
You can do anything for example kill a random person and not have a guilty conscience about it because you know you are dreaming.
