I think the best part is the absolute freedom and confidence you feel when you first realize you're dreaming. There's no limits. It's an incredibly wonderful feeling - almost overwelming at first.

Yeah. It's so hard to describe, but after my very first lucid dream I described it in my DJ as sort of feeling all my senses rushing to me at three times the intensity. And you get this over-confident feeling because you know this is your world and you can do anything in it.

Here's the excerpt from what I entered:
"All of a sudden, I see the tank in front of me flying in the air. I immediately think, “Wait a minute! A tank shouldn’t be flying in the air. I’m Dreaming! I’m Dreaming!” All of a sudden, the tank freezes in mid-air, the world around me goes still and I feel the strangest sensation that I’ve ever felt. I can only describe it as my body feeling momentarily completely paralyzed as my awakened senses rushed back in to my body but at twice to almost 3 times the intensity. The heat that I felt before is much warmer, I can see farther, and I can hear what people refer to as “deafening silence”."

I've only had 2, but the feeling is so distinct that you just KNOW when you've had one. And because that feeling is just so amazing, I continue to learn as much as I can about this!

      No homework.

Seriously though, I just think it's extremely liberating to have absolutely no repercussions for your actions - and not just social, punitive repercussions, I also mean like the kind of physical repercussions you would get from jumping off a building or whatever else you may decide to do. Lately it's just that knowledge itself which is half the fun for me, I'm kind of over the whole dream control thing (except for flying, of course ).

Well, IRL I'm not a very social person. I don't trust people easily, and I hate people getting too close to me. I've only just started to let a very select few of my small group of friends hug me. Unless of course they sneak up on me.

But in my lucid dreams, I can quite happily feel like I can trust my guide 100%, and that I can cuddle up to him. Quite strange really, given that I didn't quite know that he was the first few times. There's just this really calm, relaxing feeling. It's amazing. You don't know them, but at the same time, you do. I just don't get that feeling with anyone else, and I find myself filled with energy and unable to wait until the next lucid dream.

I haven't quite been able to achieve much other than a finger through the palm yet, so I'm still working out what else I can do.

      I GOT YOU!

Anyways, what's the best part about lucid dreaming you ask?

I don't know, something about complete freedom, and the ability to live out your wildest dreams (no pun intended), is just amazing.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.
