amazing long lucid dream this morning

Hey this is my first post here, I have been able to lucid dream for a few years now, i have been keeping dream diarys, but last nights lucid dream was SO vivid i wanted to share it.


I was in a park with my family, lots of other people were there. It was a very steep hill, beautiful and warm. I walked around over the hill and the other side was covered in snow, I slipped down, I remember thinking how cold it was. I kept falling and then I was thinking about how I would land and what I thought came true – this was the moment of realisation – I knew I was in a dream and I could change my surroundings. I land in water, its still snowy, like thick snow water, it moving very fast and im am on top of it riding along, a polar bear is there too. I am thinking i am very cold though and I start to lift up and fly above, right above the earth, I can look down and see beautiful blue see and green land. I am aware of my body, I look at my hands, my arms, and how I am flying.

Im not sure if I wake here – things changes drastically, next thing I know I am in a remote town somewhere, I am still aware it’s still a dream, im looking at my surroundings, lots of hills, green grass, its warm, lots of people around but I know its not a city, its almost as if it’s a secret town way out.

I am lying in my bed (in this town) I am still aware that I am in a dream world. I reach for a pen and start walking to the next room. Its very difficult to walk, its like I am very drunk, my feet feel like they are stuck to the ground and when I walk I have to hold the walls to stay up straight. I start writing how I am feeling on my arm (thinking that when I woke up it would be there) I find my sister and I tell her what’s happening.

I find something to try and read (I have heard that in dreams you won’t read the same sentence twice) so I carefully try and read a line. Then I go back and try and read it again. Its very difficult, I think it is the same however. I go outside and sketch the landscape on my arm and I ask a girl on the road where I am. She says Dakota (im not sure where that is but I know its somewhere in USA).

After this I loose the lucid dream and it turns scary and I am unable to control it and I eventually wake up.

Wow, I had a Non-lucid dream last night quite like the beginning of yours. I was trying to drive up the hill that you described, it was green and warm but still had quite a lot of snow on it near the top. It got nearly vertical so I thought "I'm never gonna get up this", got out of the car and slipped/ran all the way down the hill etc. Coincidence? Probably. Interesting? Definitely, or at least I think so lol.

Anyway, cool LD, I wish I could have more, I've only had 4 poor ones. My current dry spell has lasted over 6 months, despite my best efforts :(

hey! that actually sounds very similar to the one i have the night before last night. I was in an old car driving up a very steep hill, it got so steep it became vertical, as soon as i realised we were vertical i was like #$%^ we're gonna fall to the ground and die! and then i saw it happen 'as an outsider' and i saw the car fall down and the windscreen fall in and kill the people.... very creepy.

That's pretty strange that we got such similar dreams...

Your one sounds creepy, when you saw the car crash, you mentioned looking as an "outsider", but could you still see yourself in the car as it crashed e.g. out of body type thing, or had you left the car completely? Just interested to know lol
