One of my first intense and fully controlable LD's
After trying for years to LD to no avail, I eventually forgot about it. But just recently this year at college, once or twice a week I would take a mid-afternoon nap around 3 or 4pm. Almost every time during these naps I would unintentionally have intense, almost paralyzing bouts with lucid dreaming, but never having lengthy, fully controlled ones.
So today's LD came about the same way: I laid down in my bed for a nap (on my right side) around 4pm and simply drifted to sleep and once in the dream I became lucid, noticed it was fading, and having read just recently about salvaging a LD through spinning, gave it a try. And it worked. I did it twice and the scene changed to the back seat of my families old Conversion van, which I haven't thought about for years. I was sitting on the backseat w/ my current girlfriend and we began fooling around, which elicited exactly the type of feeling I have heard other talk about--waves of pleasure. It was so intensly pleasurable that I began squirming in my dream, almost waking myself up, and then thought that I was actually moving not only in my dream but in my bed and was worried I would fall off my loft bed, thus my dream began to fade and I was then transported to a very odd scene which involved some sort of concert, the statue of liberty in the form of a person I have only seen briefly around campus. I then woke up, eventually went back to sleep didin't have any more LD's.
