How to not get over excited?

Other night i got a DILD...

I was walking on the school. I saw some girls, then i realized i was dreaming. But i got over excited and woke up in a second.

Someone have tips? I get over excited every LD...

The more LDS you will have you will be less excited, as simple as that.

Well, what I've found is that simply stopping where you are and calming yourself down works when I get overexcited. Don't force it, but stand still and just gradually calm yourself. If that doesn't work and you think you might wake up, start rubbing your hands. :)

well, I've had tons of lucid dreams where I get excited in some way, which is the easiest way to end one. I don't do much when I'm lucid, just talk to people around me. The most common thing I do while lucid is go, "hey everyone! I'm dreaming!!" On I remember that was funny, is the one where I was in a school library in my old high school. I was standing at the top of the steps and I yelled, "hey!! I'm dreaming!!!" and everyone stared at me like if I had done that in real life. And I said, "no, watch, I'll prove it!!" and I flew around over the stairs and landed at the bottom, then everyone screamed and ran away, lol. Then there was this other one where someone ASKED me to prove it. It was a guy i used to have a crush on. i was standing outside the home I grew up in. I said, watch this, and made my boobs like 3 cup sizes larger. Then I put them back. He said, "I don't believe you, do something else" lol, so I flew around over his head and did a flip in the air, and said "see?" and he said, "so, that guiy over there can do it too" and this other guy did the same thing as me. I made my boobs bigger again and also made myself taller with longer hair, then all the guys stared and they came over and said, "I believe you now!!" lol lololol!!! hahaha, man, funny. I am probably one of the more hilarious lucid dreamers

I decided to stop lucid dreaming, I used to try and have them, then once i did, I didn't want to, because of the dreams I started having. One I remember is where I was in this very large room, NOTHING was in it, except a window, nothing was out the window, except sky. I wandered out of the room and found a church(like a catholic church i went to as a kid) and NO ONe was there and there was nothing in it, except pews. That's why i thought it was a church. Suddenly, an old lady appeared and said, "you have to make it" and disappeared. My first reaction was, oh, fun! So I went into the other room again, and made some bookshelves appear. Then there was nothing on them so I added some books. Then I made some chairs. I turned the white floor into blue carpet. I was bored, and lonely, I looked out the window and still saw nothing but sky, so I made a green grassy plain be at the bottom with some hills and mountains in the background, I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it. I do art in my waking life, so I was not interested in this, I was lonely, so i tried to make some friends. Whichc proved to be very scary. I tried to imagine a person there, and it was a faceless fleshy thing. It had no mouth...it began walking towards me. I backed away and it stopped. I added some eyes, and it started looking computer generated, so no thank you, that is not a real person. So i decided to wake up. Then there was this other one where I was talking to my dead grandpa and I was awake...well I mean lucid, in my dream...I said, "I'm dreaming! Is it really you?" and he said, "yes! I have waited so long for you to come here!"and hugged me. It was a totally cool hug because it was...well it just felt amazingly awesome. It felt colorful, if such a thing is possible, and bright. " I want to show you something!" I tried to follow him through a clear wavy hole(have you ever looked through a grill fire and above the flame the stuff behind it is wavy? like that), and then when I went through it I lost his hand and woke up. So many times when I see him or someone tries to teach me something, I say, "I'm sorry I can't stay lucid very long" I try hard and I can't stay lucid. What happens is you start feeling cloudy and watery and the dream gets less clear and then you wake up. So, I decided lucid dreaming is too hard and I disappoint too many dream people who are important, so I'd rather play and frolic in less lucid dreams. Sometimes I still have lucid dreams accidentally though. I started out like a lot of you. All I did is get a book on lucid dreaming at the library and read it. I didn't do anything, I just wrote on a piece of paper, I will have a lucid dream tonight, and I did. I don't remember my first one...one thing is for certain, the first thing I did was to say, "I'm dreaming!" also, I remember another one that was scary. There was an alien peeling off layers like an onion. I told him, "you can't hurt me, I'm dreaming!!" and he took out a knife and said, "yes I can" and slit my hand, and it hurt just like in real life. I decided there was no real advantage to lucid dreaming.
